The Real Congregation of God and the Ecumenism of the Great Harlot
False Unity In the following are snippets of the thoughts of the Pope on ecumenism, which are taken from the circular letter of Pope 1995 Ut Unum Sint. “When I say that for me, as Bishop of Rome, the ecumenical task is "one of the pastoral priorities" of my Pontificate, 157 I think of the grave obstacle which the lack of unity represents for the proclamation of the Gospel. A Christian Community which believes in Christ and desires, with Gospel fervour, the salvation of mankind can hardly be closed to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, who leads all Christians towards full and visible unity. Here an imperative of charity is in question, an imperative which admits of no exception. Ecumenism is not only an internal question of the Christian Communities. It is a matter of the love, which God has in Jesus Christ for all humanity; to stand in the way of this love is an offence against him and against his plan to gather all people in Christ. As Pope Paul VI wrote to the Ecumenical Patriarch Athenagoras I: "May the Holy Spirit guide us along the way of reconciliation, so that the unity of our Churches may become an ever more radiant sign of hope and consolation for all mankind" The Pope wants to connect Protestants and Catholics through ecumenical means but he also wants to connect the whole world in the same way, which means that he wants to connect all religions together, without the love and the truth of God. The book of Revelations tells us that the great harlot has drunk the earth from the wine of her fornication. This wine is a false and misleading spirit, which imitates the Holy Spirit of God, but it is the evil seducing spirit of the devil or Satan. This fornication is a form of adultery against God, where people are in a connection with evil spirits and with the doctrines of evil spirits. The drunkenness describes a condition where people are apathetic and their minds are muddled by the wine of fornication. I believe that Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth is the church of the world or religion, in which the Pope and the Catholic Church has an important role. This is the last attempt of mankind to build the tower of Babel on the earth, so that they would be one and in this unity would serve the idol of this world, Satan. Jesus in His coming breaks this end time tower of Babel and comes thousand years peace on the earth, where Christ rules, after which are created the new heaven and the new earth, and the new Jerusalem lands from the heaven, in which reside in all those who have believed in God. The Kingdom of God New Jerusalem, is the place where all children of God live forever The foundations of Unity and Fire of God Believers want to see the fire of God fall down from heaven and that people would be saved. This is right thirst and yearning, God says amen to this! This burden has been in my heart for many years. God gave me an inner vision in the year 2000 regarding the fire of God. I heard in my heart that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Then the Lord started to speak about the sin offerings, burnt offerings and peace offerings, which are in Leviticus chapter 9. The Lord commanded His nation to sacrifice to him sin offerings, burnt offerings and peace offerings and also food offerings mixed with oil, because the Lord intended to appear and to show His glory and brightness to His nation. By way of these four offerings, the fire of God would fall from heaven, and that nation of Israel would see the fire of God. We are now living in new covenant times and these four old covenant offerings have been stopped and in the new covenant we do not need to sacrifice animals to God. The old covenant service has been stopped and we are now living according to the new covenant. However, because God is the same yesterday and today and forever, there are, in the new covenant, examples of these four offerings. Sin Offerings The first was the sin offering which Aaron as the high priest delivered on behalf of the congregation for the atonement of their sins as the Lord commanded him to do. Aaron drew near to the altar and he made the sin offering and the burnt offering, and he made atonement for himself and for the people. Then he made the offering for the people and atoned for them as the Lord had commanded. Then he killed the calf of the sin offering and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns at the altar. He then poured out the blood at the base of the altar, as the Lord had commanded him to do. The fat, the kidneys and the fold of the liver of the sin offering, he then burned with incense on the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses. Now we are in the new covenant and Jesus Christ is the sin offering of the whole world. The offering of Jesus, His death and atonement was perfect, for by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified. This offering can no longer be repeated by anyone or be done again. This offering, which took place in Calvary, is atonement and forgiveness of sins and salvation of souls. This salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ, when we repent and admit our sins before God. Jesus is the Redeemer and nobody else can ever participate in any way in this redemption. Jesus did not die on the cross as a mere man but also as God. Only God can forgive sins and only God can atone for the sins of the people with one perfect offering and that is why God was needed on the wood of the cross, because otherwise every year a new atonement would be needed, such as the high priest of Israel had to, every year again and again, to atone for the sins of Israel. The altar of incense was the altar of altars, on which the sweet incense was burnt to the Lord. The offering of Jesus was to God sweet incense. The death of Jesus ended the old covenant priesthood system and old covenant service and for that reason we do not need to burn incense like in the old covenant because the offering of Christ is sweet incense, which is good enough for God. Jesus lives His life in the will of His Father. Jesus humbled Himself and was obedient to His Father unto death. Jesus took part in all these four offerings when He was walking on the earth, but we can take part in only three offerings, because Jesus is our sin offering in the new covenant, so we need not participate in this sin offering. This offering is the offering of Jesus alone, because salvation bought by Him alone. We may say that God is not pleased with the offerings and it could be so and that may be the reason why He stopped the animal offerings of the old covenant and this may also mean that God was not pleased with the animal offerings and order of the old covenant, which is why He did away with them. However, God did not remove the offerings in the new covenant because the new covenant begins with the offering of Jesus on Calvary. So the new covenant is also a covenant of offerings, but different from those of the old covenant because the old covenant order has been superseded. Burnt Offerings God has always lived in the middle of His nation. In the old covenant God lived and appeared in the tabernacle and temple. In the new covenant the Holy Spirit dwells in those people who have received through faith, Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Saviour. In the new covenant the temple of God is those people who have born in the Spirit of God and God is dwelling in them. The Holy Spirit leads these believers to be burnt offerings to God. Believers through the mercy of God give their bodies for living offerings, holy and which are pleasing to God. By the offering of Jesus, which He gave on Calvary, believers are in His eyes holy and perfect. Our walk, however, is imperfect and that is the reason why we need to grow in faith and by this growth, God will clean our hearts and we need this burnt offering of the new covenant. The burnt offering in the new covenant is the death of the flesh to this world and to its sins. The Holy Spirit affects this in the hearts of believers. In the old covenant the blood of the burnt offering, the animal was also sprinkled onto the altar and in the new covenant it means that through the death of the flesh, the Holy Spirit can rule believers and this is sweet incense to the Lord. The burnt offerings in the old covenant were cut into pieces and these pieces were burnt on the altar and the whole offering was completely burnt on the altar. Jesus in the new covenant baptises His believers in the Holy Spirit and fire. This fire burns the fleshly life of the believers so that they can live spiritual life, by this way their lives are sweet incense to the Lord. God in His great love and grace burn our flesh with its sins and its lust piece by piece, because no believer can do without this treatment. One root of those plants, which our heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up from our hearts. The root of sin needs to be overthrown in our hearts and be replaced with the word of God and the Holy Spirit. This life, which is affected by the Holy Spirit, protects our lives, but the practise of sin destroys us. Because of this, God wants to fill us with His Spirit, otherwise we would be destroyed. In the old covenant the inner parts and the legs of the animal to be offered as a burnt offering were washed with pure water and they were burned as incense for the burnt offering on the altar. This describes the new covenant where the Holy Spirit cleanses the heart of His people. When the inward parts are clean, our walk is clean. The cleansed inward part describes the pure heart, and the washed feet describe the pure walk. This wash does not mean water baptism, but the cleansing of the Word and Spirit, because the Bible teaches that water baptism does not cleanse the filth of the flesh. In the old covenant the burnt offering was always performed as the Lord had commanded it, and so too in the new covenant. We have to believe that the new covenant commandments are what God has given to us. The Holy Spirit will bring death to our flesh, so that we do not serve sin, but live in righteousness and serve the Living God. Without this burnt offering we cannot deliver the peace offering and we cannot have a peace offering without the burnt offering. The food offering has to be mixed with oil. Food describes the Word of God and oil describes the Holy Spirit. The Word must be mixed with the Holy Spirit. This means that the Holy Spirit causes the Word to be alive in us, so that we can live our lives in the Holy Spirit, as sweet incense to the Lord. Peace Offerings In the old covenant the blood of the animal for the peace offering was also sprinkled on the altar. The Peace Offering describes the unity between God and man and unity of the congregation. This connection to God and the unity of the congregation will raise lovely and sweet incense to heaven. The purpose of the peace offering is to lead the believer into a very deep relationship with God and also to bring the congregation to unity, which means that members of the one body of Christ form a unity in Christ through the Holy Spirit. When we examine the word of God about congregations, we understand that the congregation is the congregation of God and all divisions are the work of the flesh. If in your locality are two or more congregations then there is division, which is the work of the flesh. The Bible teaches that different groups of believers are the work of the flesh. The will of God is that those believers are to be one because there is one body of Christ. God has spoken powerfully to my heart and also to many other believers’ hearts around the world that God will join His nation to be one congregation, before the coming of Jesus Christ. Ecumenism is the work of Satan at the end times, imitating the work of God. God is going to give unity to His people. That is why the Pope is so eager to pursue unity with all religions, because this ecumenical work with all religions is the work of Satan. God calls His own people from out of the divisions to gather together to be one flock, one body and they who love God more than man hear this call and they start to gather together as the foundation of unity. They who love man more and their traditions rather than God have two alternatives; the first is remaining divided and according to the traditions of men and the second alternative is to join into the ecumenical world church. Those who have fallen to love with the incorrect and fleshly leading of their congregations, where one man leads instead of a group of elders, which the Bible teaches, those defenders of the order of fleshly congregations and they also resist the most powerful work of God where He gathers His people to be one body and one congregation and unity, which is in Christ. God will do His work and nobody can prevent God, because He will do that which He has written in His word. Many believers have heard this call, but have turned against it and started to speak lies of those who have heard the call of God and have come out from division to unity in Christ. God sees and hears all that we do and we cannot defend our own works before God. Jesus Christ promised that the people of this world would come to believe in Him if the believers are one, in the same way that the Father and Jesus are one. That means what it says, it does not mean that we would be united only when the end-time persecution starts, but it means that believers must be united now and for always. God has given to us His Holy Spirit so that we can be one in Him and in His Spirit. The real anointing of the Holy Spirit brings unity, and by way of this unity, where is love of the truth, the fire of God appears. When Aaron had delivered the Sin Offerings, Burnt Offerings and Peace Offerings and after he blessed the people together with Moses, the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people. Fire came from the Lord and consumed the Burnt Offering and the fat on the altar. All the people saw this and cried aloud, and fell on their faces. In the same way, the fire of God appears in the new covenant: First the Sin Offering of Jesus, which leads us to the Burnt Offerings where our flesh dies and we will experience the power of God ruling in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, which in turn leads us to unity with God and unity with the One Body of Christ and after that the fire of God can come down from heaven. I believe that the fire of God describes the work of the Holy Spirit. The significance of coming down in the form of fire is so that Holy Spirit will do its powerful task through us when we, in our lives validate Jesus' offering and we want die to sin and live according to the righteousness of God. The Fire of God consumed the Burnt Offering so that there was nothing left. They only saw the fire of God, which shone with the glory of God. In these days too many believers are puffed up and they glorify their own flesh and their own ministry and because of that we are blinded to the works of God and the fire of God is unable to come to our lives. The real fire of God and anointing bring death to the flesh of man and glorifies God. Jesus said: In this My Father is glorified, that you should bear much fruit; and you will be my disciples. Our task is not to glorify ourselves, but God wants to glorify Himself through our lives. If God could become glorified through our lives, His fire and His glory need to be present in our lives and, by way of this brightness, people can be saved, and healed and be transformed to the likeness of God. Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are of God, that His good will can take place in your life and in this world. Petri Paavola from Finland |
