Nokia Missio

 

 

Nokia Missio charismatic movement got its birth inside of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland at the beginning on 90's in Nokia. Markku Koivisto is the leader of Nokia Missio. Nokia Missio teaches that the most important mission of the movement is preaching Jesus Christ. Nokia Missio's biggest problem is that they mix up the truth and lie. On this article, I bring up things and matters how Nokia Missio is mixing up the truth and lie. I hope that you test this article in the light of the Bible. Especially I hope that members of Nokia Missio would read this article and test it on the word of God. This article is not slandering against Nokia Missio, but I have made this article suffering real concern for people who are involved to Nokia Missio.

 

Nokia Missio goals

 

There are good goals on Nokia Missio, for example, they emphasize that the most important thing is salvation in Jesus Christ and preaching on the Gospel. Preceding things are very important.

 

Nokia Missio emphasizes that believers should be deeply rooted in Jesus Christ and grow to make works of the faith. This is the right goal and direction, which every church should have.

 

Nokia Missio emphasizes very strongly charismatic gifts, prophetic gifts, healing of the sick ones and so on. All these things are correct and Biblical things.

 

However, in spite of everything Nokia Missio is mixing up the truth and lie in a way that many corrupted things stain also the truth. When people begin to teach and believe to non-biblical and false things, so the problem is huge and the work is not anymore the work of God, but the work of the man who shall heap up to themselves teachers, having itching ears for lies and non-biblical doctrines. Itching ears people choose the ways how they want to work to the Lord. The Bible shows for us that God shall show what is marching order on His work, not people. God brings up on His word (the Bible) that how we must do the work of the Lord, what it contains, how we should do it and how we may believe in Jesus Christ. Next I bring up the things which are not Biblical in Nokia Missio.

 

Nokia Missio the gospel

 

Mark 16:
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

 

Nokia Missio is preaching the gospel, but emphasizes that the gospel without signs and wonder is wrong. For this reason Nokia Missio has been lost and deceived many kinds of wrong things, which shouldn't be in the church life. Because Nokia Missio is aiming signs and wonders, so they don't pay attention to it that what the Bible teaches. Many wrong things Nokia Missio explains that they are right, because signs and wonders are occurring. They don't test the things in the way how the Bible teaches, and for this reason they are deceived and erred in their hearts.

 

Because Nokia Missio doesn't test the things in Biblical way, so the year after year many wrong prophecies, wrong manifestations of spirit and false prophets gain a foothold in Nokia Missio. This kind of activity attracts such people who can be sincere, but they are strongly sensual who want to see and experience miracles. The word of God they don't take seriously, and enough for them is if things seem to be biblical and everything must not be like in the Bible it is enough if there are miracles, signs and wonders. They believe religious traditions and they want to be radical, but their radicalism is filled with wrong teachings. Many young believers go astray, because of "signs and wonders" and by wrong teachings.

 

I pray that everyone who read this article would test and examine this with the Bible. I haven't been ever a member of Nokia Missio. My intention is not revenging anything or slander to Nokia Missio, but I bring up wrong things of Nokia Missio, because God has spoken this in my heart. I hope that you test and examine all what I have been written by the word of God.

 

 

Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

 

Miracles are not the only consequences from the real faith. The most important signs from the real faith is growth according to the truth and the love of God. The real faith leads Jesus' disciple to live in practice according to the truth and the love of God. The real faith leads Jesus' disciple to believe the word of God accordance with the truth. As a consequence of this Jesus' disciple learn to discern Biblical things and non-biblical things, and then Jesus' disciple can reject all sins and non-biblical doctrines and receive the truth and the love of God.

 

The Bible teaches the right activity of charismatic gifts, where these gifts work at accordance with the truth and the love of God:

 

1 Co 14: 1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

 

Greek New Testament says 1 Co 14:1 like this:

 

Pursue love, and seek eagerly the spiritual things, but rather that you may prophesy.

 

The word of God teaches that we must pursue love and seek spiritual things, and if we accept to grow and live in the truth and the love of God, so spiritual gifts shall work in a health way in the midst of the church. The apostle Paul emphasized focusing to love of God (Agape), and that we should seek spiritual things (living in the Holy Spirit) and as the consequence of this is that spiritual gifts shall be working in a health way in the midst of the church, not breaking the hearts, but edifying of the body of Christ. In the church of Corinth spiritual gifts didn't work in the right way, for this reason apostle Paul taught importance of the love of God and spirituality (living in the Holy Spirit), that the spiritual gifts could work in the right way. If we are not doing according to teaching of the Bible and pursue first the love of God and spirituality of the Holy Spirit (living in the truth), so "spiritual gifts" begin to produce carnal and sensual messages and by that way evil spirits can produce false messages and manifestations in the midst of the church. Like this way have been occurred on Nokia Missio, because they don't discern good and evil, but have mixed up them.

 

Nokia Missio and water baptism

 

Markku Koivisto has said that he accepts Lutheran church baptism and Pentecostal church baptism, and he holds both as Biblical baptisms. Markku Koivisto said that he has firm Lutheran baptism comprehension, and he shall never give up from it.

 

The Bible teaches that in the order of the New Covenant is one baptism, which is after repentance and believing in Jesus Christ. The early church didn't baptized people without repentance.

 

Lutheran Church baptizes infants, but the Bible says that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in the name of Jesus Christ among all nations. The Bible says that turn now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings, and repent therefore, that your sins may be blotted out. The Bible says that when people believed the gospel about Jesus Christ, they were baptized. Baptizing of infants is non-biblical.

 

Nokia Missio emphasizes that water baptism has attained a lot of fights, disaffections and divisions and therefore, Nokia Missio accepts baptizing of infants and those who have come to believe in Jesus Christ. It is true that many Christians have lived in division, because different teaching of baptism. The best solution is honouring the truth and reject non-biblical elements and wrong doctrines. The Bible teaches that there are one Lord, one faith and one baptism. The Biblical baptism occurs after repentance and believing in Jesus Christ. Nokia Missio is mixing up the truth and lie, because it believes two different kind of baptism, the right one and the wrong one. By this way Nokia Missio accustoms its members to accept and live on in lies. The seed of mixing up right and wrong comes into view very often in actions of Nokia Missio.

 

Nokia Missio's responsible persons say that don't want to cause divisions and fights, but they want to build unity of Jesus' disciples. Nokia Missio is building up unity of Jesus' disciples by mixing up the truth and non-biblical teachings. The Bible says that Jesus' disciples must build unity acknowledging of the truth in the love of God, that they could grow up in Jesus Christ:

Titus 1:1  Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

 

Nokia Missio and occultism

 

Few years ago Chuck Pierce was preaching in Nokia Missio. I watched his preaching by Internet, where he was preaching in Nokia Missio. When I heard his teaching and the way how he acted, so I was amazed that Nokia Missio's leading group didn't notice occultism, which Chuck Pierce practised.

 

In the meeting Chuck Pierce took oil bottle and said that when you open this oil bottle, so about it one year begisn great revival in Finland. Chuck Pierce is teaching many kinds of "oil bottle anointments".

Chuck Pierce serves as President of Glory of Zion International Ministries in Denton, Texas. He is working with a prophetic and prayer service ministry. He markets and sells various anointment oils. The Bible teaches about New Covenant disciples to use oil only in one purpose, where elders pray for sick people using oil. This is only teaching using of oil in New Covenant Church. Nokia Missio and Catholic deception

 

Nokia Missio New year celebration 31.12.2009 spoke Catholic "charismatic" Raniero Cantalamessa. Nokia Missio's website advertised Cantalamessa like this way:

 

1979 priest and Franciscan monk Raniero Cantalamessa left his professor's office in order to devote as an itinerant preacher in all the world. Cantalamessa has become the remarkable leader of Catholic charismatic, who preaches to pope, cardinals and bishops very often in easter St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican. Cantalamessa's special field is the message of the cross and power of the Holy Spirit, which makes alive people in the churches and life of individuals. Cantalamessa has kept many years spiritual program in Italian RAI UNO television channel. Now here in Finland is chance for the first time to hear this remarkable Vatican's charismatic in Tampere Nokia Missio's New Year celebration. In celebration are also few Raniero Cantamelassa's books translated for Finnish. His books have been translated over 50 languages.

 

Markku Korhonen and Lauri Vuohelainen invited Raniero Cantalamessa to be the guest of Nokia Missio. Lauri Vuohelainen said that when they have watched from Italian television Cantalamessa's program, so Lauri's wife said that it can be seen that this man is a believer. Lauri Vuohelainen said that the Holy Spirit makes same things in the Catholic Church what He has done always in Christian churches; in other words, baptizes people on the Holy Spirit, people receive remission of sins and become in the faith and Jesus come for them very dear. Lauri said that Raniero has said that only Jesus is our personal saviour and only this has meaning. According to Lauri Raniero has said that in the Catholic Church, there are millions people who have been filled with the Holy Spirit. Lauri said that Raniero has been Professor of History of Ancient Christianity and Director of the Department of religious sciences at the Catholic University of Milan, and therefore, he has thoroughly clarified that what is the apostolic doctrine. Lauri Vuohelainen says that Nokia Missio didn't invite Catholic Church, but a brother who has been baptized with the Holy Spirit. Lauri stated that because Raniero Cantalamessa is Professor of History of Ancient Christianity, so when you listen to him, you are in core of Christianity. Lauri also said that when he has read Raniero's books, there is no need over-strike or take away nothing.

 

Lauri Vuohelainen has made a bad mistake in his opinions, because Raniero Cantalamessa believes to the Catholic "holy mass" doctrine, where Catholics say that they sacrifice Jesus again and Jesus sacrifices Himself again every time when they perform holy mass. Raniero also believes Catholic Church teaching about Mary and other false teaching of Catholic Church.

 

Catholic Church teaches in Finnish catechism about this way: Each person, who knows the catholic church for the right church of Christ, is under the threat of the eternal bliss loss, obligated to be its member, to believe its doctrine, to enjoy its sacraments and to be subject to its power.

 

Raniero Cantalamessa can preach also the right things, but in the same he must believe the false gospel of Catholic Church, because as Catholic, he has engaged to believe Catholic gospel. No one who is the member of Catholic Church can't be a Catholic if not believe all doctrine of Catholic Church. The fact is that Catholic can't be Jesus' disciple and filled the Holy Spirit if he believes entire Catholic gospel. If he is the real Jesus' disciple, so Jesus would lead him out from the Catholic Church. For example, no one who is Jesus' disciple can't take part to Catholic mass, where they sacrifice Jesus every time all over again and again, and they say that this is the same sacrifice as in the Calvary. This is blasphemy and false gospel, because the Bible says that Jesus Christ was once offered, because Jesus Christ offered one sacrifice for sins for ever. We can never repeat His sacrifice.

 

Jesus' disciple can't take part to Catholic mass, because it is blasphemy against God. Preceding things shows for us that Raniero Cantalamessa can't be Jesus' disciple, but he is the deceiver who is mixing up the truth and lies as also Nokia Missio has done.

 

Raniero Cantalamessa is Catholic, who believes to official Catholic doctrine, which means that he is the deceiver. At one time ex-Jesuit Alberto Rivera said that Catholic Church shall deceive Protestants by charismatic movement, where Catholics begin to persuade Protestants to be positive to Catholic Church. We all can see this happening now. It is a question about ecumenicalism and deception! Nokia Missio is the movement, which says that it goes under the flag of Christ, but Nokia Missio is mixing up to its message lies and influence of evil spirits, in other words, Nokia Missio is part of deception.

 

1 Tim 4:
1 ¶ Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth

 

In the last days is working at spirit of apostasy, which affects apostasy by seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. These deceivers are hypocrites and they are bluffing people by this hypocrisy and those people shall be deceived whose heart has not been exercised to discern good and evil. Nokia Missio is an organization, where evil spirits are spreading their own "gospel" (false gospel). Nokia Missio speaks also the right things, but they also speak and teach a lot of non-biblical doctrines and allow evil spirits' manifestations. Leaders of this movement lacked health judgement, and they lead their "sheep" into deception in many ways. Inside of this movement are believers who are sincere, but they go astray through many kinds of deceptions. My prayer is that eyes and heart of some people in that movement would open to see deception that they could come out and find the real gospel, grace, truth and love of  God.
