Euthanasia - "mercy death"

The mankind rebel against God of the Bible in many ways. One of this kind of rebellion is euthanasia in other words merciful killing or mercy death. On this article, I brought forth why euthanasia is wrong and sin against God.

Euthanasia

Euthanasia derives from Greek words eu and thanatos. Eu means good and well and thanatos means death. Euthanasia is defended and justified that suffering patient get merciful death and termination of life by a doctor at the request of a patient.

On passive euthanasia at the request of a patient, the medical treatment will be finished, all treatments that should keep the patient alive. On active euthanasia at the request of patient all treatments will be finished, when has stated that not exist any treatments that could cure the patient. On active euthanasia is used lethal substances such as lethal injections.

Assisted killings or death and medical treatment in aid of an easy death are concepts of euthanasia.

On assisted killings or death, fatally ill patient at his own request gives to another person commit suicide on the behalf of the patient. On assisted killings or death can put down a life of the patient who is on the coma, although he can't anymore express his own will.

On medical treatment in aid of an easy death fatally ill patient wants to make suicide, but can't do it physically; therefore, someone else helps him and kills him.

Justifications of euthanasia

Justifications for euthanasia:

- Patient has the right to decide his own life
- Patient has the right to self-determination
- Patient should have the right to choose his own fate
- Patient should have the right to end his life when sufferings are too hard
- Fatally ill patient is the economic burden to his family

It is very unfortunately that people are familiarized to euthanasia, and godless people have been deceived by the deception of euthanasia.

God's standpoint to euthanasia

1 Sam 2:6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

Supporters and defenders of euthanasia say that people have the right to decide of their own life. This is not truth, when is the question about birth and death of a man.

1 Sam 2:6 killeth word means that God has the right to decide, when is the time of man's death.

The man doesn't decide about his own birth, because God donates to him the spirit of life. When a man dies, so God takes away from his body the spirit of life and his soul.

Ps 139:
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Job 14:5 5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

God has determined the days of a man. Euthanasia is rebellion and sin against God. The life of a man should be in the hands of God. God is only one who can decide rightfully the length of man's life.

Deut 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Gen 25:8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

Gen 35:29 And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

The Bible teaches that the will of God is to give the man long, happy and plentiful life. The will of God is that the man would enjoy the life with God and other people on the earth and his moment of the death; he could die full of years and pleased with his life.

In the best way, you can enjoy the gift of the life believing on the Lord Jesus. God is the only one, who can give to you abundant and plentiful life, in which you can be as the object of God's love.

Unfortunately, to the life belongs also pain, sufferings and misfortunes. With the Lord Jesus, these awkward situations are easier to face and go through.

The bible teaches that the life and death of a man should be in the hand of God; therefore, euthanasia is sin and rebellious act against God. Euthanasia is an also wrong and irresponsible act.

Ex 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

The Bible teaches that a man hasn't the right to kill another person. Euthanasia is murder and killing (sin) in the light of the Bible.

God's possibilities

Euthanasia is not mercy death, but suicide, killing and a murder. On euthanasia patient and another person carry out killing and a murder- Patient accepts killing, and another person kills him.

Throughout of the history there are numerous cases, in which God has healed fatally ill people by the name of the Lord Jesus. God has awakened people on the coma and even raised people from the death. People who accept euthanasia deny God's possibilities to heal the fatally ill people.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

By euthanasia, many people are going to eternal damnation. Supporter and acceptors of euthanasia prevent people to receive the salvation in the Lord Jesus. In the end of times powers of evil spirits try in every way prevent people to receive the salvation in the Lord Jesus. In the end of times the mankind "legalizes" many horrible sins. Therefore, the mankind in the end of times "legalize" euthanasia as mercy death, even it is sinful suicide, killing and a murder.

God can heal fatally ill people, and medicine science can relieve and ease pains and sufferings of a patient. My intention is not accused anyone, because nowadays the lethal sickness can become for many reasons in this polluted world. People are rebelling and sinning against God and very often lethal sickness stop a man to think and receive the salvation in the Lord Jesus. If you can see this matter in this light, so by the lethal sickness can open the door to the eternal life with the Lord Jesus.

I hope  a good health for everybody not diseases, but the life under sinful world can end up to the death by deadly disease. It is good to understand God's possibilities, because He wants to save and heal the man. I have noticed from the word of God and practice for the life that concerning godless people the will of God primarily saves the man for eternal life and then heals the diseases. This means that largest part of godless people which the Lord Jesus has healed for some diseases are such who believed on the Lord Jesus immediately after healing or later. God has healed many godless people after they have received the faith in the Lord Jesus. It is obvious that God has no pleasure in the death of the godless people. Therefore, to healing experience is connected saving of the man by believing on the Lord Jesus.

Behind the euthanasia is the spirit of murder, which is the work of satan in the world. Euthanasia's spirit of murder dresses as the gracious liberator, which ends up pain and sufferings of the man, but unfortunately leads the man to eternal damnation and separation from God. The Lord Jesus said that in the damnation  shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. In other words, eternal suffering, because God presence is not there.

Euthanasia is not a relief or liberator, but a deception and the way to the eternal damnation. God doesn't torture anyone in the damnation, but the pain and suffering is for the reason that there is no love of God.  In the first place, the damnation is prepared to evil spirits, but the rebellion by sin of the man is the reason why the man ends up to the damnation.

The gospel about the Lord Jesus is not frightening for the eternal damnation, but the message of God's love in the Messiah and the Lord Jesus. The gospel of the Bible tells that all men are sinners and come short of the glory of God and without salvation and for the sake of their sins, they are on the way to eternal damnation. The Lord Jesus has died for our sins and saves us if we believe on Him. The gospel is great love of God towards the men. The goodness of God leads people to repentance and receiving the salvation and people don't come to God fearing the damnation, but for the sake of the God's love.

The gospel tells an honest truth about wickedness of the men, the damnation and the salvation in the Lord Jesus, the Messiah. The Bible emphasizes God's love in the gospel, which affect the knowledge of sin and for the reason of God's love a man wants to receive the salvation in the Lord Jesus.

The life is the gift of God

Ps 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

The life of a man is the gift of God. No man has the right to decide or accomplish the death of a man. God is the giver of the life and only one who has the right to decide when a man must die.

Gen 9:
5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.
6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

God has made a man after His image. God will judge all who kill another man. Euthanasia is a murder, in other words, the work that is under the judgement of God.

Gen 6:3 ¶  And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

God is only one who has the right to decide when a man has to die.

Medical association

The Finnish medical association holds untimely death as the traditional enemy of medicine science, because the starting point of the physician ethics is serving a man honoring the life.

Finland's patient law (785/1992) and legislation does not accept euthanasia and according to the law a patient doesn't have the right to demand euthanasia. According to Finnish criminal law ending of the life, a patient is a punishable act, which is classified a crime of killing.

The Finnish medical association concerns negatively to initiatives for legalizing of euthanasia. Profession of physicians abstains for operations which primarily intention is hasten the death of a patient. The world medical association advice physicians to abstain assisting of euthanasia, even if it were forbidden according to the law of the country. In America in the state of Oregon and in Europe, Netherland, Belgium and Switzerland have legalized euthanasia.

The world is going on all the time more immoral direction. In some phase, euthanasia shall be accepted as the worldwide as many other sinful matters, which first has risen to general conversation and as the conclusion the matter has accepted.

Science of medicine should protect the life in every possible way and not kill a patient, even a patient wants it. In science of medicine pain relief is nowadays in a very high level by very effective palliative medicines. Science of medicine develops rabidly and patient who struggles with pain, and sufferings can get aid very soon and even cured completely.

God can also heal deadly sick patient, and these kinds of cases are several. Euthanasia is the wrong and sinful decision, because healing can be ahead. We can never know what really happens to a patient, and he can be healed at any time. Euthanasia is sin against God.

Many physicians have seen patients whom the Lord Jesus has healed. Whenever there is life left, so there is hope. Euthanasia is ethically wrong and sin before God.

The death factory of the end time

One of the twisted viewpoints accepting of euthanasia is that a society saves money, because treatment expense of sick person cost money.

1 Tim 6:
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

For the sake of the love money societies of the end times value the money more important than the man. Societies of the end times hold the man who is deadly sick as an unpleasant burden that cost money.

God can heal the man who is deadly sick and medicine science can find remedies to different diseases. However, the love of money and wrong values have twisted hearts of the people, and they haven't the strength to wait, but want to carry out euthanasia.

The worldwide accepting of euthanasia can begin the new conversation that how the sick person is useless to society and unpleasant burden. This can lead that the level of euthanasia's death is let down more and more, and the value of the man is not measured by the human dignity, but the value of the money. Accepting of euthanasia is the terrible way, which inevitably leads to choose new values, in which the human dignity is run down.

God gives a great value to all human life, and He can heal even the hard case. Science of medicine is also developing all the time, but the hearts of the people are deceived by sin that killing of the people is an evil plan of the end times:

Rev 6:8 8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death (thanatos), and with the beasts of the earth.

On the Greek text, the death word is thanatos, which means the death of the body. In the end of times the wars, the hunger and other reason causing death will kill about 1.5 billion people. Euthanasia is among those deaths. The book of Revelation tells more deaths after the chapter six.

Beasts of the earth are probably imagery, which means antichristian new world order of the end time. The mankind builds on the earth during the end time the death factory by its wickedness, which kills a lot of people by different reasons.

Reason and cause of disease

The man who is under the power of sin very often tries to accuse God that God cause diseases. For the most part, of diseases resulted of activities the people.

For instance, preservatives and additives of food industry contain such a kind of poisons, which cause many kinds of diseases and cancer. Industrial products made by the men contain matters and poisons, which cause many diseases and cancer. The man cause to himself and other people diseases, pain and sufferings and the people accuse God from the works of the people.

This kind of behaviour is very typical for the people who are under the power of sin. Sinner man accuses other; however, sinner man is guilty, not God. If the people believed on God and worked in a way that is the will of God, so in the world would be lesser diseases, pain and sufferings. After the death, the disciple of the Lord Jesus will get into the perfect God's kingdom, in which is not the death, pain and sufferings.

Exitus ry

Exitus ry (the Euthanasia Society Registered in Finland) is ideological, politically and religiously nonaligned association, which main goal is to get euthanasia's active permissible law to Finland. Exitus ry say that men should have the rights to get medicinal aid in dying if the prognosis of disease is hopeless and there are no possibilities to get remedial treatment. Exitus ry emphasize that aid in dying must be voluntary, and it must be based on request of mentally health people who have considered it very accurately. Jaakko Ojanne (chairman of Exitus ry) appeals to mercy and patient rights to decide his own life. According to Ojanne, patient must have mercy and hasten his death for his own request if his diagnosis is slow and painful death. Ojanne says that it is hypocritical to keep the patient on narcosis when the final result is definite death.

Jaakko Ojanne: "Naturally, in this connection rise different religious objection, but can we force ethically by permanent ground other people live according to someone else religious belief? This kind of logic, for example, Islamic and the Jews must force to receive anointing or baptism."

Answer to Exitus ry

Exitus ry advocate the law that allows suicide and killing of other people. Science of medicine must work for the life, saving of the life and nursing pain by easing the pain, but not commit killing of the people. Modern science of medicine can ease pain and sufferings of the people.

There is the uncountable amount of the people all over the world healed by the Lord Jesus, and science of medicine can invent new remedies to cure the people who have deadly diseases.

Think about it if some deadly ill patient killed today by euthanasia and after the one year of his killing God would be healed him or science of medicine would invent a new medicine that would be cured him. I'm sure that patient regret his decision if it were possible, and he would be ready to wait and continue his life, in which would have left many years to live.

On the coma have awakened people after many years, and people have cured for very difficult diseases. Exitus ry appeals to sufferings of the people, and nobody want any sufferings to anyone, but Exitus ry has forgotten that as long there is life, so as long is hope. XXX

Biblical health faith doesn't force anyone to do anything, but is always for the life and doesn't accept suicide and killing, not even if someone is deadly sick. Ethically is not right to kill a man, because Biblical faith is always for the life and the Lord Jesus can heal a man and science of medicine can develop new medicines that can cure deadly sick people.

Euthanasia is not good death, but bad death, because by it, people are killed to face the eternal damnation. Euthanasia is final and irreversible that takes chance to eternal life.

Atheism and euthanasia

Among supporters of atheism is many people who accept euthanasia. Why do atheists accept euthanasia? Atheism sees a man as autocratic, pleasure loving, hedonist and egoist. Atheism very often accepts the evolution theory, in which strong survive and weak one dies.

Above-mentioned things expose for us in bare way factors that affect behind euthanasia.

When a man says that he is autocratic and decide his own life, so he very often accepts euthanasia. He decides when and how he shall die.

The fact is that a man is not autocratic concerning his own life. You can't decide your birth and not many other things. A man is dependent on other people in many things and basic laws of the life.

When a man is concentrating to seek pleasures in his life, so when sufferings and trials come into his life, so he may surrender and be ready for euthanasia. The life is not mere pleasures, but also trials and sufferings.

If a man believes in evolution theory where only strong survive and weak ones die, so when he faces sufferings, he might choose euthanasia.

Ideology of atheism has characters, which lead people to astray and accept wrong choices, which euthanasia is.

Nazi ideology and euthanasia

Two German scholars Karl Binding (jurist) and Alfred Hoche (psychiatrist) wrote 1920 the book called "Die Freigabe der Vernichtung Lebensunwerten Lebens" ("Allowing the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Living"), that set the ideological foundations for the Nazi program of extermination of disabled and incurably sick people.

Karl Binding and Alfred Hoche proposed that the lives of the chronically ill or of the mentally and physically disabled were "unworthy of being lived," and should be given a "charitable death."

Nazis' accomplished thoughts of Binding and Hoche by operation Action T4 (Aktion T4) during the second world war. Action T4 was Nazi Germany's euthanasia program that caused deaths of about 300,000 people. Part of them was condemned to death based on examination, in which they have diagnosed as incurably sick; some of them were mentally and physically disabled who were killed by medicine, starvation and in the gas chambers.

1939 Adolf Hitler signed a back-dated "euthanasia decree" to 1 September 1939 which authorised Philippe Bouhler and Karl Brandt to carry out the programme of "euthanasia". Certain physicians, designated by name, so that patients who, on the basis of human judgment are considered incurable, can be granted mercy death.

The present-day background of euthanasia is in terrible Nazi's ideology. People who allow euthanasia are ready at similar acts as Nazis did by their euthanasia program, in which they killed almost 300,000 people. Nowadays, euthanasia deaths are made by medicine, but the goal is the same as Nazis did when they killed sick people.

The roots of the euthanasia are in Nazi's ideology. Difference between Nazis and modern-day euthanasia is that Nazis ordered people to be killed and nowadays people can choose the euthanasia. 

Nazis' euthanasia ideology based on there that certain people were unworthy of living and therefore, for them granted mercy death. In the modern-day euthanasia, people are also unworthy of living. People whom believed to be incurably sick are granted mercy death, because they are unworthy of continue living, because they are not useful to society; in a way thinks people who accept kill them. Modern-day euthanasia talks about ending of suffering by merciful death, but behind it is losing of human dignity and value, because they accept to kill people by the euthanasia.

Concept incurable disease doesn't mean that patient can't anymore be healed. There is the innumerable amount of people who are classified as incurable sick, but still they have been healed, even very lethal diseases.

Science of medicine improves and may come better and can find new remedies to difficult diseases, and God can heal incurably sick people. When a man has human dignity and value, so all possible is done for the life, and no one have the right to kill another man. Modern-day euthanasia represents the same murder spirit what affected on Nazis'. Point of view that allows euthanasia shows that part of Nazis terrible acts are still alive in the form of euthanasia. The mankind has not forsaken Nazi's ideology, because they keep it alive allowing practicing of euthanasia.

Wrong direction

Euthanasia is wrong and sin. When a man accepts euthanasia it surely leads suicide, and killings even increase. The time comes when hedonistic and pleasure loving person don't want anymore live if he experiences that he has gained all pleasures that he can get and live offer anymore nothing for him. For the reason of emptiness in his heart, he decides to accept euthanasia and commit suicide. Preceding description shall come true in the life of many people who accept euthanasia.

It also might happen that this world which has gotten sick from sin begins to kill by force the people for reasons that unproductive sick people must be killed.

Nowadays, it is even going on conversation that newborn sick or handicapped babies can be killed after birth. There has been said that these babies burdens too much the future economy, because they don't profit economically nothing, but are the unproductive and economic burden to society.

Preceding statements are loveless and sin of the love of money.

Drs. Alberto Giublini and Francesca Minerva said in Journal of Medical Ethics that killing a newborn baby should be permissible in all the cases in which abortion is, including cases where the child is not disabled. They said that handicapped children might be an unbearable burden on the family and on society as a whole, when the state economically provides for their care.

When the people accept euthanasia and all kinds of wickedness, so there is no more value in the life of some people.  Alberto Giublini's and Francesca Minerva's statement proves that how wicked, loveless and terrible is the values of the people. Handicapped people have the same human dignity than other people. End times' mankind is under total wickedness. 

Rev 9:21 and they repented not of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their whoredom, nor of their thefts.

The book of Revelation in the chapter 9 and verse 21 speaks about four sins that affect strongly in the last days mankind. Murdering is one of the sins of the end times that strongly affect in the societies. The last days murder statistics darken also euthanasia, abortions and killings in many ways.

Behind euthanasia, deaths can be pressure of the family, in which family pressures patient about euthanasia, because a patient is a burden to family. Many cases can happen that a patient doesn't want to die, but family or other people construe him in a wrong way, and against his will decide to kill him by euthanasia. Dementia patients are especially in the danger zone, because they can't express their own will.  

Allowing the euthanasia on some cases will lead to considered murder for reaching the financial profit. Matters of inheritance heir and heirs can decide to kill the patient against his will. Especially on cases, in which the patient is incapable of to express his own will, so heirs by greed can decide to kill the patient that they can have his fortune.

Terrible killing of the people also by euthanasia is an indication that how wocked and sinner this world is. Wicked people try to dress wickedness into the dress of goodness and mercy by euthanasia deaths. God of the Bible is only One who can save people from the power of sin.

Putting down of animals and euthanasia

Many people defend euthanasia saying that when we put down animal by the hands of physicians, so to people belongs to same rights by euthanasia.

The Bible gives an answer to this. An animal is not morally responsible its life to God. God doesn't demand and require animal about his works, and for this reason putting down of an animal is acceptable in certain cases.

A man is morally responsible for his life and works to God, and the Bible says that the birth and death of a man is at the hand of God. For this reason, a man's euthanasia is wrong and sin before God. Putting down of an animal and euthanasia of a man can't compare with each other.

Euthanasia is a sin that takes away a chance to save to eternal life and euthanasia is rebellion against God, because it is God who must decide when is the time of the death of a man.

Epilogue

SiIf you consider of have accepted euthanasia, so I appeal to you. The Lord Jesus can save and heal you, and science of medicine can invent a cure for you. Give up from euthanasia, because all hope is not lost. The best decision that you can make is repenting your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus. By believing on Him all your sins shall be forgiven, and you receive eternal life and the Lord Jesus can heal your disease.
