| Believe on the Lord Jesus I have written this writing and teaching for godless people, Jesus' disciples who have just begun to believe on the Lord Jesus and Jesus' disciples who have been a long time in the faith. This writing tells about falling into sin and its consequences, how you can receive salvation and how God teaches and leads you.
Content:
God created for His love an object, which is a man.
And God said:
"Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness".
God created the man in his own image; in the image of God, He created
him. He created them male and female. God's purpose was that a man could
receive into his heart the love of God and would live according to the
love of God. This is great and awesome God's love for a man, that he
could live a happy life. When God had created a man, so He first blessed
a man. God wants to bless also you as He blessed in the paradise Adam
and Eve.
When God had blessed Adam and Eve, so He said to
them: "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is on
the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of
a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat".
It is very important to remember and understand that the blessing of God
comes true, when you have received what He has given to you. You must
also remember that God said that He had given good things to a man. In
the word of God is a blessing when you believe and receive it.
Many people will be disappointed to the God, because they don't believe
and receive His blessing. The blessing of God is by Him and His word.
This means that what He has said, bring the blessing. Many people
complain to God, that they haven't received His blessings. They haven't
because they didn't believe His word, but have wanted to get blessings
by their own desires.
God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. In the
creative work of God comes out of His character of the law. He is the Master of
creation and planning. This ability makes for Him a Good Leader. It is very
safety to be under His authority, because everything that He wants to do for us
is good.
The plan of God was that a man would
be happy with Him. This comes true by this way that God can be the
Leader, and you are loyal and subject to Him. The plan of God can
fulfill in your life only if you believe on Him.
The Lord God said to a man in the garden
of Eden: Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: "But
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it:
for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die".
What was the consequence from disobedience
and that a man trusted himself and evil satan? The death, destruction of
man's life, suffering, diseases and all kinds of problems of evil
sins. Believing in God would be the reason, which prevent disasters of evil sins.
God gave to a man the freedom to eat every other tree in the garden,
except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. I know that you ask
in your heart that why God forbade to eat from that tree? God gave to a
man the possibility freely chooses that, does he want to live his life
with God or not. The choice gave to a man the freedom and possibility to
decide from the free will, that does he want to live with God or not.
God loves a man whom He had created, and He didn't
want that His relationship with a man would be based on coercion. I'm
sure that you don't want to get to marry with a person that you don't
like and love. Falling in love is the reason why people get married.
God loves you and wanted that you also would love Him, but not from the
force, but your own free will. The tree of the knowledge of good and
evil was God's indication of the love, respect and freedom for a man.
Without this tree, a man would not have a choice to choose and freedom
of choice. If there wouldn't be that tree, so there wouldn't be a choice
and a man would be like the robot who has ordered acting without choice,
in other words, he would be forced to act according to the will of God.
God didn't want to make of a man, a person who live his life without
free will. The robot can't choose what he makes. God didn't want to make
of a man the robot which is coded to make things.
Therefore, God forbade to eat from that tree, because He loves you and
wants with you a relationship, which based on your own free will. God's
character doesn't belong compelling of a person, but the freedom which
you have. To the freedom belongs always responsibility, therefore, God
said do not eat. Denial of God in relation to sins is for your own good,
because its purpose protects you from the evil things.
Adam and Eve were happy in the garden before
falling into sin. The Bible tells for us that satan came with evil
things in his mind in the form of the serpent to Eve and Adam. Hey, something is wrong now, because the Bible tells for us that
the works of God are very good. I know
that your next question is; why there was the evil in the garden?
God had created cherubim and angels, before He created a man. Cherubim
and angels had the same free will than a man had. One Cherub rose up in
a rebellion against God, and he took along some angels to his rebellious
acts. The Bible tells for us that this Cherub lifted up his heart for
his beauty, and he corrupted his wisdom by reason of his brightness. In
other words, his pride led him into sin.
God cast out these fallen angels and cherubim from His Heavenly Kingdom. Cherub,
the leader of sinful revolt is satan. The name of a satan means in
Hebrew adversary. Throughout of the history evil satan has distorted the
truth of the word of God, in which evil satan distorts oppositely the
word of God. Evil satan hates everything that God has created, and
especially he hates a man. Therefore, he wants to destroy a man.
Distortion
The Lord God said to Adam and Eve in the paradise:
"Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that
you eat thereof you shall surely die".
Evil satan distorted
Evil satan distorted oppositely the word of God and like this way he has done throughout the history. The aim of evil satan is to made evil as good and good as evil, cancel the word of God changing its meaning oppositely. The goal of evil satan is to deceive people to worship him; to worship evil satan by sins and lies. Therefore, satan said to Eve that has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? This is very familiar with the world, because people everywhere say that has God really said, and they add, surely not. People say very often that the matter is oppositely as God has said, because I'm sure that He doesn't mean it that way, but the way that I think of it. People twist the meaning of the word oppositely, because they are slaves of sins. The Bible tells for us that the snare of the devil is that he has captured people to do his evil will. In the garden, satan first questioned the word of God and then lied, turning the meaning of the word of God to have an opposite meaning. This is a method of satan, in which he twists the truth as a lie and deceives a man by a sin. The sin of evil satan is lethal, because the judgement of sin is eternal damnation. Deceived by emotions In the garden when Adam and Eve believed in God, so the tree of the knowledge of good and evil reminded of them, the curse and the death. When they rejected the word of God and turned to listen evil satan, so the tree of curse and death appeared to them as good, pleasant and source of the understanding. The reason to believe a lie was that a man saw the tree in a different way with deceitful words of satan. Evil satan deceived a man by emotions. Evil satan appealed to the emotions of a man and by this way he deceived a man away from the truth that man knew. Emotion world of a man deceived and so a man didn't anymore understand the truth and the facts, and a sinful lie deceived a man. Method of evil satan is change comprehensions of people by continual emotion conditioning, without facts, logic or arguments. By this way people don't know that an attack has been done to their minds. The purpose of satan is to change emotions of people for positive to sin and he has done this. Therefore, people don't need facts, because positive emotion comes as the truth to the heart of the people, even if the emotion is sin, wrong and abnormal or conflict with the real truth. Planned manipulation abuses always the emotions of the people. If you can win emotions of the people on your side, so any facts can't speak to the hearts of the people. When emotion is manipulated to the desired direction, so people don't understand, that an attack has been made in their mind. This kind of manipulation is an insolent and rude act of evil satan by which he tries to achieve his wicked sinful goals. God doesn't manipulate the mind of the people, but let them freely decide to believe in Him or not to believe. God doesn't use crooked and dirty means and don't try to manipulate people by force to receive the salvation in the Lord Jesus. Evil satan first deceived Eve and then Adam also received deception. They were both equally guilty. Eve shouldn't listen and believed a serpent (satan) and Adam shouldn't take the deception by the hands of his wife, but correct his wife. The blaming of Eve alone is wrong, because they both fell into sin together. When a man doesn't listen and obey God, so his world view and things in the world become distorted. This is a method of evil satan, because he paints the exterior of the things beautiful and looking good, but inside of them is a lethal poison. This is a problem of a sinner man, that he doesn't see the deep interior of things, but only exterior painted by sin. For the reason of falling into sin a man changed the love and holiness of God to death and curse. A man got into the slavery of sin and satan. This slavery is forced labor work of sin, in which you can't set free by your own power. Only the blood of Jesus and His redemption can set you free. Occurrences after falling into sin in the garden are also very familiar to all of us. After falling into sin, they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. In other words, they hid the beautiful, creative works of God. The sin in the world hides the work and word of God. Behind of this hiding project is evil satan, which impacts to the mind of the people that they resist and rebel against the will, work and word of God. Adam and Eve heard the sound of the Lord God walking up and down in the garden, and they hid themselves from the face of the Lord God in the middle of the trees of the garden. This hideout game is very familiar with the world. People hide themselves in many various excuse ways when God wants to speak to them. Sin in them tries to avoid that they wouldn't receive the salvation call in the Lord Jesus. For example, there can be these kinds of excuses: I have bought the land (car, boat, house, etc.), and I must take care of it, so I can't accept the invitation. A husband who doesn't ever wash the dishes says that he can't come, because he must wash the dishes; but he lied and didn't wash them, because his intention washes the dishes was an excuse to not receiving the invitation. A husband who always runs away his mother-in-law says that he can't come, because the mother-in-law is coming to visit us. A wife who has made just a great and large cleaning in her house says that she can't come, because she must clean her house. Running away and escape occurrences in the garden after falling into sin continue nowadays in the world, where people are escaping God, because they are slaves of sins. The people hide in a very various ways. Why you escape God, for He loves you? You can ask this question about yourself, and the Holy Spirit will answer you. The Lord God called Adam in the garden by saying; Where are you? The Lord is Almighty God, and he didn't call Adam for the sake of that He didn't know where Adam was. The purpose call of God was that a man would see that why he is lost from the plans of God. When God calls you into the salvation in the Lord Jesus, so you have been identified as a person who is lost. It is time to change a course and direction and step into the Jesus way. Adam answered to God; I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. This is also familiar in the world nowadays. The people afraid God, because sin in their hearts gets them fear God, and they try to hide themselves from God. God sees them, and they can't hide from God. Before falling into the sin nakedness of his (a man) body, the creation of God, didn't afraid a man. The reason behind this fear is that satan has captured a man to do his evil will. Evil satan corrupts the mind of a man and put there a thought about the incorrect fear of God. This incorrect fear of God leads a man to run away from God, and a man tries in many ways to hide himself from God. The love of God towards a man is the perfect and satan's evil plan turns a man to run away from this perfect love. Works of satan are full of wickedness and evil. Evil satan ruins your life and prevent you to receive the love of God in your heart. Incorrect fear towards God caused by satan brings into your heart to fear, dread, fright, terror, anxiety, depression, oppression, etc. Don't let the evil one torture and torment you. The Lord Jesus is near you, knocking on your door of the heart. Open that door and you will be saved and receive the love of God and His aid. The Bible says that there is no fear in love of God, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has the torment. God has an answer to you. Adam didn't afraid God before falling into sin, but felt in his heart the love of God. You can receive the love of God. He is waiting for you by reaching hands, and His heart is full of love to you. The consequence of captivity of sin The Bible teaches that every man has sinned, and have come short of the glory of God. No man cannot save himself by his own power. The sin makes to every man a slavery of sins, which appears in the life a man by practicing of sins. The question is dependence practicing of sin, in the other words, addiction where a man is addicted to practice a sin. Evil satan impacts in your heart, making of sins. The Bible teaches that sin produces enjoyment of pleasures of sins. Pleasures of sins are lethal. First, you are addicted by them and enjoy them. Pleasures of sins bring always sufferings and injustice. I take an example: A husband (or wife) who is unfaithful and cheat his spouse with another woman by practicing of sex. This unfaithful husband surely feels the pleasure of sins by cheating his wife. The fact is that his adultery produces suffering in the heart of his wife. Second fact is that adultery is injustice. At the end, pleasure of sins leads this husband to eternal damnation. Sin is lethal, even if you liked it very much. Don't let your lusts lead you into the eternal damnation. God has a solution for you! The blood, death, resurrection and the redemption of the Lord Jesus is the requirement for forgiveness of sins. The Bible says that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in the Lord Jesus' name among all nations. Greek word repentance is metanoia, which means repentance, change of mind and to think a better way. If you repent your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus, so God forgives your sins and gives participation in the eternal life with Him. The Bible says: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Repentance contains also the thought and act to forsake sin and changing the life according to the will of God. The Bible says: For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. That means to live publicly as Jesus' disciples obeying the word of God. When you have received the salvation in the Lord Jesus by grace of God, the Bible tells you that God delivered you from the power of darkness, and has translated you into the Kingdom of his dear Son. In whom you have redemption through the blood of the Lord Jesus, and the forgiveness of sin. You have got forgiveness of sins for the sake that Jesus lived a holy life for you; fulfilling the law for you; Jesus poured out His blood for you in the Calvary; Jesus died on the cross for you; Jesus resurrected to His Father, because He had fulfilled your salvation operation on the earth. The work of God that you believe in Him You see that you don't earn the salvation by your own works, but the salvation is earnings of Jesus, which he donates you as the gift. When Jesus said on the cross; It is finished, He made your salvation as the perfect, whereto you can't add anything. The salvation is the perfect gift of God for you. For by grace of God you are saved through faith, and not by your works, because it is the gift of God, not by the works of a man, lest any man should boast. In the days when the Lord Jesus walked on the earth, He said that it is the work of God that you believe in Him. By preaching of the gospel the Holy Spirit reproves to the heart of men of sin and judgement and also proves the righteousness of the Lord Jesus. He who doesn't believe on the Lord Jesus is going on the way to eternal damnation. God has mercy on him who does believe on the Lord Jesus. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. For this reason, the gospel is preached. Without hearing or reading of the word of God, a man can't come to believe on the Lord Jesus. The faith is the work of God and works done by faith are works of God in Jesus' disciples. If you have received the salvation in the Lord Jesus for the grace of God, so receive water baptism in His name as the Bible tells. God will give His Spirit and baptize every Jesus' disciple in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives you the power to be the witness of Jesus and the power to grow in faith according to the teaching of the word of God. You can't be Jesus' disciple by your own power. Therefore, God gives you the promised Holy Spirit. By the Holy Spirit, you have the power to die your flesh and reject the sins. By the Holy Spirit, you have the ability to live and grow according to the teaching of the Bible (the word of God). The real anointment of the Holy Spirit affects on your heart the faith which works with the love and the truth of God. You learn to Love God, your neighbors and even those who hate you, when the love and truth of God by the Holy Spirit teach you. You learn to be gracious about everyone, but you don't support sins, but love sinners. Reading of the word of God is very important. You can't grow in the right direction without the word of God. The Lord Jesus said that he who believes on Him, must believe as the word of God says, because then the Holy Spirit flows in his heart and raises you to the holy life in Him. Jesus said also that if you don't know the Scriptures (the Bible) and the power of God (the Holy Spirit), so you do err. When you believe on the Lord Jesus as the Bible says: The Bible shows to you what is the teaching and the truth of the Bible; The Holy Spirit influences on you as the Bible teaches. Like this way, you don't get lost from the right path. Next I take into view few important teachings about the importance of the word of God. It is written In the gospel of Luke chapter 4 is a very important teaching to us. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit, and He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. The devil tempted Jesus there. The devil said to Jesus. If you are the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. Evil spirits want that you concentrate things, which you are not told to do or things which you are not yet ready, but will be in the future. Task of Jesus was not in the wilderness to make for stones as breads. Evil spirits are leading you to reach out miracles and sensations and away from the truth of the word of God. Evil spirits lead you to live according to emotions by the carnal mind, but they want to keep you out from the truth of the word of God. It is important to believe in the word of God. The Gospel of Luke's chapter 4 tells us very clearly that how satan distorted and changes the truth of the word of God, and "preaches" his own faked gospel. When we research this place, we notice the same character as what the deceivers are doing. The devil said to Jesus that cast down from the pinnacle of the temple and then devil said. For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you: And in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone. Jesus said in a Gospel of John that the devil was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. So how devil can quote the word of God. The devil quoted Psalm 91 verses 11 and 12, but devil left out four words in verse 11 and those four words are in all thy ways. God charges us and keeps us in His shelter in all our ways. So you see that satan comes very near to the word of God and twists it that it looks similar as the word of God, but it is not, because satan always leaves out or adds something or twists the word of God. We must understand that how important is to know the word of God and also the power of the Holy Spirit that the devil cannot deceive us. Psalm 119 and verse 1690 says. Your word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures forever. All the words of God are true, but if we leave out or add something it is not anymore the word of God, but the voice of satan. We must believe the word completely and all His words. Pharisees and scribed corrupted the word of God The Lord Jesus said that the Pharisees and scribes rejected the commandment of God, that they would keep their traditions. Pharisees and scribes corrupted and twisted the word of God. The Lord Jesus revealed them as deceivers. Everyone who was there and heard what Jesus said knew whom the deceivers were. Thus, we have also the same right to say that who are the deceivers. So it does matter that what is the source where you draw on the Word and on which NT manuscript the Bible you read based on. Many believers say that you can't argue on the manuscripts of the Bible or translations. My intention is not to argue about this issue, and it is not the question, but awake Jesus' disciples reject all wrong and corrupted things and seek for the genuine, right and original. Corrupted texts can guide believers to accept non-biblical things, which is the work of satan. Unfortunately, evil satan deceives many believers depart from the faith in the end times, because they don't honor the real word of God, but let the corrupted texts and teachings mislead them. Jesus said that because iniquity shall abound in the last days, the love of many believers shall wax cold. The word iniquity is in Greek anomia, which means being without the law of God; transgression of the law, the condition of without law, because ignorant of the law, because of violating the law contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness. When the word of God is misrepresented and turned to mean oppositely what is the real meaning, so then the iniquity (anomia) and waxing cold of the faith (apostasy) happens. Jesus said: You do err, not knowing the Scriptures (the Bible), nor the power of God (the Holy Spirit). Jesus' disciple needed both the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. The Bible is not enough without the Holy Spirit, in the same the Holy Spirit is not enough without the Scriptures, so the Lord Jesus said. Oil (the Holy Spirit) runs out without the real and genuine word. Apostasy in the last days comes for iniquity; many believers are without the real teaching of the God's word. Therefore, the love of the Holy Spirit will be waxed cold in them, and they depart from the faith. We need the real, genuine and original Word, that we can grow in the Holy Spirit. It is very important that what is the source in which you read the teaching of the Word. I recommend to you King James Version 1611, King James Version 1769, American King James Version and J.P. Green's Literal translation. There are certainly also some other good translations, but I know that above-mentioned translations are very good ones, which are very loyal to the original text. Instructions loving the neighbors If you want to believe deeper to the teaching of the Bible, so ungodly people and also some believers can accuse that you are legalistic zealot, faultfinding person or loveless person. All those accusations are pointing to you, because you want to believe what the Bible says, and you love God:
1 John 5: Jesus' disciple loves God by living according to His will, obeying the word of God by the order of the New Covenant. Into question is not the works of the law, but the law of faith by the Holy Spirit, where you love God from His grace. Like this way, your focus is God by the Lord Jesus. 1 Joh 5 teaches also that if you love God, so you also love all children of God (Jesus' disciples). When people accused you as legalistic zealot or loveless person for the reason that you want to believe on the Lord Jesus according to the love and truth of God, so you are not legalistic zealot or loveless person, but Jesus' disciple who loves God and His children. Do not care about those false accusations, because when you grow in the faith and learn to love and believe God more and more, so ungodly people and immature Christians accuse you, because they love the world, not God. Love those people who are nasty and want to insult you. The Bible says that love your neighbors, this means that you may also love ungodly people, also those who are really nasty and hate you because you believe in the truth of God's word. Ungodly people say to you that you don't love them, but you judge them. Remember that you don't judge them, but God judges them by His word. You have the right to tell the truth of the God's word about His love, truth, Jesus' redemption, sin, damnation forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Remember that you don't run your own errands, but you run God's errands. You are the messenger of God, and you tell about the will, word, love and truth of God. Remember also that God wants to save all people. Don't pick out people according to your own linking or attraction. You must tell about God to all people, because of God, all people are equally important. Don't mock those people who mock or oppose you, but love them with the love of God in the Holy Spirit. Remember, believing in the Jesus' gospel is voluntary. Don't manipulate anyone. Accept it that someone doesn't want to believe, let him walk the way that he has chosen. The gospel and believing on the Lord Jesus is the way of the love and truth, which must express to ungodly people with the love and truth of God. The prayer is like breathing and without it, you die spiritually. God will lead them who walk by praying. Ask that God teaches you how to pray in the Spirit and truth. Jesus' disciple who prays in the Spirit, and truth is walking in the guidance of God. Pray and walk in the guidance that God has reserved for you. Many years ago God showed me a revelation in the dream, in which the God's voice said to me that if I knew the power what is in the prayer, I didn't do anything than praying. The gospel of the Lord Jesus is preached for the obedience of faith, in other words, that you believe and obey on the Lord Jesus according to the order of the New Covenant. Obedience leads you into renewing of your mind. Obedience in the Holy Spirit leads you as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Do not conform according to the sins of this world, but let the Holy Spirit transform and renew your mind by the word of God. By this way, you will find what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Do not think of yourself more highly than ought to think, but think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith, in which phase of the faith each one is growing. In the process of transforming and renewing of the Holy Spirit belong reading, researching and studying the Bible. You can't be transformed and renewed without personally reading and studying of the Bible. Many believers have very big problems in this area. They go to the meetings to hear the teaching of the word, but many of them don't test the teaching of the word of God. For this reason, many deceiving doctrines can deceive them. The Bible tells for us that everything what is preached, taught, prophesied and so on, must test by the word of God. You must test also this writing that I wrote. If you love and honor your sisters and brothers in the Lord Jesus, so your testing is not criticizing of them, but Biblical action that the Bible tells us. Do not argue, but test the teaching of everyone by the love and word of God.
If you don't test the teachings by the
love and the word of God, so you will be conformed to deceitful
doctrines, wrong doctrines, sins and worldly attitude. The faith which works by the love and truth of God The love of God is shed abroad in your hearts by the Holy Spirit, which God gave to you. The faith without the works of the love and truth by the Holy Spirit, is dead faith, carnal works and empty words. The faith which works by the love and truth of God is the real and genuine faith. When your heart is ruled by the love of God, so in your heart dwells on His grace and truth. The grace and truth came by the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and you have been called to live in the grace and the truth of God. The grace of God that have brought to you the salvation, teaches and grows on you that you learn to deny ungodliness, worldly lusts of sins; and that you learn to live according to soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. You have blessed hope, and you wait for the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus, the Lord and the Messiah. When you grow in the Lord Jesus, you will desire in your heart His truth and love. You also learn how to pray for godless people and how to preach or witness to them. The Lord God gives you a task according to calling that He gives you. On a sound basis being faith leads you to fellowship with other Jesus' disciples. Pray God that He leads you to fellowship in the midst of the congregation that holds on from the Biblical faith according to the love and truth of God. The purpose of coming together in the congregation is for the perfecting of Jesus' disciples, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of the Lord Jesus. The purpose is also to grow to reach in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus. When you have grown in the love and truth of God by the Holy Spirit, so you are not underage whom deceivers can toss to and for by their deceiving and wrong doctrines. For reaching this goal the congregation must build up as the Bible tells. The congregation must live by the truth and the love of God and join together as the whole body. That they are compacted together with every member and edify one another by those gifts that God has given for everyone. They edify one another by the love and truth of God. The purpose of the faith is that the Lord Jesus must increase in you, and your flesh must decrease. The real faith in God makes us servants, that odor sweet smell of His love, not stinking of the flesh of a man. God has called us to be conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus; to live like He lived. Jesus fulfilled the will of His Father and was obedient to His Father. We can't be the perfect as Jesus is, because we are not yet come perfect in our wandering in this world. But we can grow in His grace by the love and truth in the Holy Spirit. The Bible teaches for us very powerful teaching about the real serving (I compare this teaching to time where we live): A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said to him, Take care of him; and whatever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you. Which now of these three, think you, was neighbor to him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do you likewise. The Bible says that by change, the priest came that way and when he saw a half dead man, so he passed by on the other side, This priest didn't show love for him and not served him. He was not in the guidance of God, but walked by the change by his own power wanting to do his own will. Maybe he was in a hurry to speak in the church about his theoretical sermon. He was so blinded because of his position as the priest, that he couldn't see and understand the real will of God. He had spoken as the priest about God, but he didn't know God and His will. Maybe he was concentrating fully his own perform behind the pulpit, that he walked as blind to reality. Then came a Levite, and looked at the half dead man, and passed by on the other side. The Levites were priests' assistants, and their duties were to keep clean sacred utensils and the temple, open and shut the gates of the temple, to sing hymns in the temple and so on. A Levite didn't love his neighbor and served him. He also passed half dead man. Maybe a Levite was also so full of his own ministry that he couldn't understand that the will of God would be helping, loving and serving for a half dead man. Maybe he has also similar reason as the priest, that he couldn't see the clear will of God. A Levite did not have the love of God, but theoretical head knowledge, which deceived him. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to place where half dead man was. When he saw him, he had compassion on him, and had mercy on him and went to him. Samaritan bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine. And put him on the back of his animal and brought him to the inn, and took care of him. Samaritan forgot his own matters and loved, helped and served half dead man. The oil is described in the Bible as the Holy Spirit. The Samaritan was "filled" with the Holy Spirit, and he lived by the love and truth of God; therefore, he loved, helped and served half dead man. He bound up his wounds. Unfortunately, sometimes I see how some believers hit those who are wounded by sins, and they don't bind but hit. We have been called to help people not hit them. The inn is the congregation, in which the Holy Spirit takes care of believers from those whom sin have hurt and wounded. Samaritan gave money to a host of the inn and said that he was willing to give more if it is necessary. The love and truth of God in the Holy Spirit will grow us that we would have the same attitude that the Samaritan had. We grow to give up what we have and give it on to needy ones. I don't mean now only money, but all things, our time, abilities and so on. By this way a person who has deep wounds of sins in his heart will recover and get healed. Many believers today are demanding that they must have money that they can serve through their ministry. Samaritan gave an example to give away money to people by serving them. Samaritan didn't take the money, but gave it to needy ones. Samaritan gave for us an example that the real fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Next things Jesus' disciples can achieve through the growth of the love and truth of God. So don't blame yourself if you haven't got involved in things, which I wrote in this chapter. Remember that we all of Jesus' disciples are growing towards things that I wrote in this chapter. Very often many believers think that temptations or sufferings are fully negatives matters. The Bible is a revolutionary book. The Bible turns upside down the wisdom and thoughts of a man. Think about the Calvary! There happened the most wonderful beginning of the Love Covenant between a man and God. The Calvary was the most fantastic incident in the history of the mankind, but it was also the most cruel place of the pain and suffering. The biggest blessing of the mankind was full of pain and suffering. Many people who were near the cross of the Lord Jesus could think that it was a big fiasco and a catastrophe in the cross. Jesus who did good things was dying and died tragically on the cross. People maybe think that Jesus' life, His all-good achievements came to nothing on the cross. In the matter of fact, on the cross occurred in the mankind's greatest achievement, victory from the power of satan, sin and death. God turns wisdom and thought of a man upside down. When God is behind the matters, so the pain and sufferings are beginning of the new life. Jesus loved and suffered on the cross. Long nails penetrated through hands and ankles of Jesus. It was a very painful process producing enormous pain. Despite the pain, Jesus did love those who crucified Him. This is the love of God, which loves, even then when people are stuck "nails " into our flesh. They who are Jesus' disciples have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts of sins by the Holy Spirit. The love of God in the Holy Spirit's influence in you the love for all people. The cross of Jesus brought suffering, but also great love. By the suffering love, God loves through you all people. Why Jesus wins people with His side? Because He indicates to us our sinfulness and also eternal punishment, but He offers for the sinner forgiveness for the sake of the Calvary, in which He suffered and died for the sake of our sins and indicate like this way to people His great love. You can also win people for Jesus, when you let the Holy Spirit affect the love of God in your heart in all circumstances, even there were people bringing suffering to you. Evil satan knows that what great impact is for those Jesus' disciples who are willing to suffer and love to those people who bring suffering to them. Therefore, evil satan wants to deceive Jesus' disciples away from the real way of the faith to carnal and theoretical faith living after the lusts and desire of the flesh. God has justified us by faith. We have peace with God through the Lord Jesus. We rejoice in the hope and the glory, which we have in the Lord Jesus. We also glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation works patience. Patience works experience, and experience works hope. The hope of God makes us not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given to us. The love of God in the Holy Spirit brings the real joy into the heart of Jesus' disciple that the surrounding situations can't extinguish our faith in the Lord Jesus. Evil satan tries by temptations, and sufferings destroy our life in the faith. God is faithful and when He has allowed temptations to enter our lives, He has promised that we will not suffer and be tempted above it that we are able. God has also promised that He will deliver for us the way to escape and win temptations, in other words, we are able to bear all temptations and from the grace of God get over them. Temptations have important meanings, because through them, we come more patient and enduring in our life. Patience in the Holy Spirit provides the perfect work, in other words, we will win temptation of sins by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit influences the will of God in our life, which is always perfect. Today is too much spiritual "fast food" centers in the midst of Christian churches. These fast food preachers' promise rapid change in your life of the faith. They offer you the way without the cross of the Lord Jesus, the way without dying of the flesh, the way without the love and truth of God. They want your money and quickly pray for you and teach their heretic gospel. They give you unhealthy spiritual food, which blocks your heart seeing the real truth. Therefore, be there, where is preached and taught the gospel with a bloody cross of Jesus, the death of Jesus, the resurrection of Jesus, Biblical teaching according to the love and truth of God, teaching about the Holy Spirit and dying of the flesh and sanctification by the Holy Spirit and the word of God in truth.
