In Sysmä Päijätsalo is beautiful part of Päijänne, were is also nature reserve. Area is named Suopelto. Residents of Sysmä and summer cottagers built together to mountain of Päijätsalo this magnificent beautiful outlook tower in year 1899. 21.5.2005 our family was traveling in the mountain of Päijatsalo. We took pictures on camera from the magnificent beautiful landscapes of Päijätsalo. From the lookout tower can be seen magnificent views to Päijänne. Päijänne is not only the lake, but the big watercourse. Päijänne is Finnish longest, deepest and second largest lake, which water is so clean, that you can even drink it. Päijänne is about 150 kilometers long (92 miles). In the sky was at the times small wisp of clouds. The sun fried and was very warm weather. The day was also very good to boating. Päijänne shows its best sides when you have the opportunity to look it from the height, and your eyes can rest and enjoy from magnificent views. |
