Samson was called to serve
the God
The phase of the life of
Samson and the teaching, which include to his life is extreme important for
the believers who live in the end time, God has spoken strongly to me of
Samson and his life, from which we see a strong spirit of apostasy, but also a
great grace and love of God.
The Consequences of Sin of
Israel
The People of Israel commit
sins against the God and the consequences of this _ God gave the people of
Israel to the hands of philistines for forty years. For whatsoever a man
soweth, that shall he also reap. This law of life is also valid in your life
and my life. Every deed brings forth its fruit, either good fruit or bad
fruit. The consequences of sin are the slavery of sin. There is only one-way
to avoid the slavery, which sin has brought to our life, which is to do
repentance and turning to God. When the People of Israel committed sins
against God, and didn't want to do repentance and turn to God, they did
themselves drawing themselves into and under the slavery of sin. If you don_t
want to serve God, then you are forced to serve an idol, because in this world
there is only two choices to be made, God or an idol, life or death,
righteousness or sin, blessing or curse, of these alternatives you got to
choose one or the other alternative. People of Israel chose the bad choice and
because of the consequences of their choice, they got to be under the yoke of
Philistines.
The Philistines worshiped the
idol Dagon, which was shaped as a human with fishtail. The Philistines
worshiped also Astarte, which was a mother goddess and the goddess of the
earths growing power and the goddess of all fertility of all living, which
were derived from the god being of the tree. The Astarte was also considered
as a goddess of fertility, the life of family, were contained acts of
debauchery. The Astarte was also the goddess of moon and the queen of heaven
(the stars). This is the bad exchange, that the People of Israel made and
because of this, they were brought under the horrible yoke of idolatry. May
the God have grace upon you and me for to make a right chose in the choices of
our lives.
The Birth of Samson
And there was a certain man
of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife
was barren, and bare not. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman,
and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou
shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink
not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: For, , thou shalt
conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child
shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver
Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
This world is under the power
of the prince of darkness of this world and because of this; it is unfruitful
and bears no fruit. However, when the Lord appears, saves a small man from
this evil time of this world, and then through regeneration, and through the
power of God _ this little man, called to preach the word of God, which set
free the people of this world from the yoke of the _Philistines_ and from the
yoke of the Satan. So did Samson born and grow, and the Lord blessed him. And
the Spirit of the Lord began to work in Samson. The Spirit of God brought him
up and teaches Samson into his calling, which was to set free the people of
Israel. What is this _ being under the yoke of Philistines _ speaking to us
this day?
It was the Ecumenism; Roman
Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, the Orthodox Church, the Seven Day
Adventist Church, the Pentecostal Church, the Methodist Church, the Baptist
Church and the Salvation Army, and Hindus, Buddhist and Muslims did not invent
the Ecumenism, even they practiced it among themselves. The Ecumenism was
conceived in the paradise of Eden, because of the falling into sin. The
Ecumenism is calling the child of God into idolatry. The Ecumenism mixes
always the leaven and the unleavened. The Ecumenism mixes the commands of God
with the man-made commandments. The Ecumenism mixes the worship of God with
worship of idols. The Ecumenism permits the speaking of God, but suffers not
the Spirit of love and truth to affect according the word of God, but it
always takes side up to 90 percent for the idol.. The Ecumenism is as rat
poison, in which also are right nutrient values, but it also contains poison,
to the extent that it kills. The Ecumenism is thing, from which the child of
God should keep himself/herself off, because it contains killing poison.
Nevertheless, if you are parting of this soup of poison, you will be parting
of a soup that you have to empty it all. If the child of God has got involved
in the Ecumenism, so the only reasonable choice is to repent and abandon the
Ecumenism. The children of God is called to serve and to bring forth the
gospel and things of the kingdom of God, and they are not aimed to sacrifice
their own lives on the altars of idolatry. The yoke of the Philistines also
describes the evil world, which is under the sin and the child of God should
stay away from the altars of this world, which are under the power of evil
spirits. This was the task of Samson and now we will follow and see how Samson
succeeded in this task.
The Wedding of Samson and the
tribulation
Samson celebrated the wedding
feast with his wife and there were also the Samson’s wife’s Philistines
friends. And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if
ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it
out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments: But if
ye cannot declare it to me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty
change of garments. But when the Philistines friends could not explain the
riddle they did threaten the Samson’s wife and said: _Entice thy husband, that
he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house
with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?_ The sin is
deceitful and it will deceive you and if you not obey it, it will threaten to
harm you or your family and threaten to destroy your possessions. The sin is
cunning and cruel, do not listen to the voice of the sin, and peddle not with
the sin. The God cares for you and helps you and remember that God is
Almighty. The sin will not become poorer, but it wants increase and become
rich and it will not give, and because of this, it want only take because the
nature of sin is greedy. The Samson’s wife frightened her friends and harassed
Samson with her cry and said: Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou
hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it
me._ And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother,
and shall I tell it thee? And she wept before him the seven days, while their
feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her,
because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her
people. The Philistines wants you to commit sin, but if you are not committing
sin, they will tell you that you do not love them. Is this familiar to you?
The child of God is called to love God and if you don’t want to commit sin
then you also really love your neighbours even how they try to argue that you
do not love them.
It is coming to my
remembrance a true event from a situation of a certain family. A
believer-married couple went to visit the parents of the couple’s wife. The
appointment was warm and nice and then the wife’s parents asked the son-in-law
to bring a tobacco pack to their sick child. When this request was presented
to the son-in-law the God spoke to the heart of the son-in-law and said._ And
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove
them. Because of this the son-in-law refused and was not able to bring the
tobacco to their child, because tobacco destroys the man. The parents took
offence to their son-in-law and said: Do you try to deny from our child’s his
only pleasure? After this they turned to their daughter and pleaded to her
theirs feelings by saying: Do you care for your brother, can you bring him
this package? The situation was distressing to the flesh. The parents’ eyes
were turned straight into the eyes of the daughter and the words sink straight
into her heart. The heart of the daughter was distressed, she knew that it is
wrong to committing of sin by taken her brother that tobacco, which would
destroy her brother’s live, but her beloved parents appealing for her beloved
brother won in her heart. The daughter did not want to hurt her parents,
because she loved them so much. The sin takes offence if you deny it to have
an influence in your life. The Satan set also your flesh into awkward
situations so you would commit or for further sin. The sin influences and
appeals to your emotions because the flesh of man and the emotions are both at
the same side and they cherish each other and they are inseparable. The
emotions of the man lead to sin because without faith the emotions can’t
serve God. And Bible says that flesh of a man is allied with sin and Satan, so
you need the Holy Spirit to rule your flesh that you can serve God and not
sin.
Why did God create the
emotions in the man? Is it accepted for man to have emotions? God created the
emotions because the man could live and feel in his heart the love, the truth,
the holiness, the righteousness and grace of God, because the kingdom of God
is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The man is allowed to
have emotions, the purpose of the emotions is to glorify the God and to give
us joy and the emotions are not meant to commit sins. The sufferings they are
also a part of the emotions created by God, the Word tells us for he that hath
suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin_. The will of God is not in the
beginning the suffering of our flesh. This suffering came to this world after
the falling into the sin, and purpose of these healthy sufferings is to guard
us from the sin. The daughter’s parents were thinking: it is only tobacco,
which gives our child a pleasure. The truth is saying: the tobacco dangers the
health of man and causes lung cancer and other diseases in the organs of
breathe. The lung cancer is killing and it kills the person who suffers this
disease. Because of this the son-in-law did not want to bring that tobacco
package because he loved his wife’s brother and did not want to bring him
something, which could destroy him. The wife of Samson troubled him with her
weeping during the time of seven days. The heart of Samson was softened before
his wife when the wife day after day troubled him _ that he revealed the
riddle for his wife. The sin is arrogant and it attacks against you day after
day and tries to break your emotions of your heart to do the sin. If you
negotiate with the sin on your emotional level, it will break you and you
can’t stand against it. Resist sin! Let your flesh suffer. Jesus suffered and
died on the cross and broke the power of Satan. Follow the example of Jesus
Christ. Let your flesh suffer and let your flesh be death unto the sin, only
by this way you can receive the victory over sin. Remember that the winners
rejoice and always be glad but the defeated ones can never celebrate, they are
living in mourning and sorrows.
The wife of Samson was afraid
of those terrors that threaten her and she made a wrong choice in her life for
to save her life, so in that way she thinks. But that wrong choice was her
end. She becomes the bridegroom’s friend’s wife and she was burned to death,
because Samson burned the fields of the Philistines. The sin is satanic
deceptive and the wife of Samson was threaten that she will be burned if she
not get Samson to reveal the answer to the riddle. And when the Samson’s wife
did so that she would not be burned she was anyway burned. The sin works
always the same way, it say unto you that you will be destroyed if you in this
difficult situation have faith in God. And when you are afraid and you don’t
want to believe in God and commit sin, so this same sin will destroy you. The
sin is really twisted, treacherous, deceptive and thoroughly rotten. When you
understand how dreadful and horrible the sin is you will not anymore be its
friend and not having nothing to do with it.
A woman in Timnath conquer
the Heart of Samson
And Samson went down to
Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines. And
he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman
in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me
to wife. Then his father and his mother said unto him, is there never a woman
among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest
to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his
father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well. But his father and his
mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against
the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.
This world is full of beautiful thing and the flesh of man has always wanted
and desired beauty. But the men can only se the outside of the things, but not
the substance of the matter, but Lord knows the substance of matter their
nature and character. The God teaches His children, what is good and beautiful
and acceptable in the eyes of the Lord. And when the Lord has shown you that
what is good and beautiful, then you can safely enjoy of those things together
with your Lord. In the Paradise there were good trees, from which man was
permitted to eat and there was also the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, from which it was not permitted to eat. The reward of eating from the
tree of Life would have been eternal life and the reward of eating from the
tree of the knowledge of the good and evil was to die with the eternal death.
When the man walked with the God, he did know that the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil was the tree of curse and death. But when the man was
listening to the voice of the serpent, then the tree which bear the fruit of
curse and death, changed into being good to eat thereof and it was delicious
and charming to the eyes and it did also give understanding and wisdom. And so
did the hand of man touch that tree and eat its fruit. Oh God! Have mercy and
keep us away from that tree, which brings curse and death into our lives. Did
you know this, that when you forget the commandments of God in your life,
there will be only one choice left, and that is the covenant with the curse
and the death. Oh God! Have mercy and help us to keep in Your ways. Good,
delicious, beautiful, charming and wise things, which are under the power of
Satan, brings forth curse and death to man. Keep yourself therefore in the
way, in which the fruit of the Spirit affects, because it gives to you
everlasting life and also the blessing of the God.
But Samson father and his
mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against
the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.
The Samson had to win the love of this philistine woman, so that this
philistine woman should fall in love with the God of Israel. The will of God
is not bringing his own children to the camp of Philistines to make a covenant
with them and because of this covenant with Philistines bring to the life of
believer worshiping of idols. But the God brings his own into the camp of
Philistines, for this reason, that He wants us to win the hearts of
Philistines to serve and worship the living God. When you visit the camp of
Philistines, beware so that your heart does not become attached and assimilate
their manners. Remain and keep in the power of righteousness, when you visit
the camp of Philistines, then remember that you will not stay and live there,
because your home is in the camp of Israel. When Samson walked to Timnath, a
young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon
him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his
hand. We don’t need aid tools to win the sin, cause not by the power of the
flesh or the power of sword, but by power of the Spirit of the Lord we win the
sins of this world. The Satan walks about as a roaring lion seeking someone he
may devour, that he may bind you with the sin, but if you allow the Spirit of
God to work in you, then will the sin be broken before you. The Satan saw,
that now Samson comes and will come to set the people of Israel free and also
bring the Philistines with him to serve the living God. If you also want to
bring the message of the victory of Jesus into this world, so will the Satan
also walk against you raging and roaring. Fear not, the God has called you by
your name and the faith, which is a work of God in your heart, is greater than
that which is in the world.
When Samson had burned the
fields of Philistines, the Philistines came to the men of Judah and they
declared that they were come to bind Samson, because he had burnt their
fields. Samson had burned their standing corn, vineyards and olives. Samson
strikes the life power Philistines and destroyed the food source of the
Philistines. If you with the truth of the Word of God, burn the religious
peoples invented doctrines and tradition of men, they then want to bind you,
because they obtain their life power from these doctrines and tradition of
men. Because you have now touched their beloved tradition, which they have
received from their fathers. Now you are in bad situation and they are coming
to bind you. Why did you come and provoke against us, now we will put you in
chains, like this says you the religious spirit, if you are obedient to God.
Are you afraid? Yes, our flesh is afraid, but if you look at this situation
with the eyes of Spirit, you do not have to fear. To this suite this thought
from a song writer:_ Fear not _the God himself is on your side_ Also on your
side is the living God, and nothing can separate you from His love, but the
fear of your flesh, which will be trap your life. But perfect love of God will
throw out all fears, which are in our heart. Then three thousand men of Judah
went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that
the Philistines are rulers over us? What is this that thou hast done unto us?
And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them. And they
spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into
their hand._
Then when it starts to
happening in the congregation of God and the fire of God is burning _ so then
runs the firemen in the congregation with their water hoses to put out the
fire. After this comes the binders, who wants bind those who has involved with
the process of the fire of God. If you belong to the congregation and you are
serving in there as a fireman, you are in the wrong place. The place for a
fireman is in the fire station. In the Bible there is no mention of a
ministering as a fire man, so the choice is to repent and receive from God a
new ministry. That you don’t put out the fire of God, but you receive the fire
of God in your heart and let it affect in your heart. If you belong to a
congregation of God and in there serving as a binder of them who are
ministering and burning in the Spirit of God, you are in the wrong place.
Lazarus was also to be loosed from what bound him. In the Bible there is no
such ministering as to binding those who are burning by the fire of the
Spirit. If you are you are binder of those who are burning with the fire of
the Spirit in the congregation, you have to repent and receive a new ministry
from God. The men of Judah bind Samson, who didn't resist them. If you also
are about to be bind up in the congregation, because you are burning with the
fire of God, do not resist and fight against flesh and blood, but wrestle
against evil spirits. The doctrines and commandments of Philistines conduct
life of the men of Judah, because they fear men. Love them and lose them from
the yoke of Philistines to helping them to take the yoke of Christ instead of
the yoke of Philistines. When the men of Judah brought Samson in bound to Lehi,
the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily
upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt
with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And that day he slew a
thousand Philistine men. When the Spirit of Lord will work in you, then will
all the bands melt away burned by the fire of God before of you.
And he was sore athirst, and
called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the
hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of
the uncircumcised? Samson also felt the weakness of the flesh of the man as
you and I feel the weakness of our flesh. The only choice for a weak flesh is
to turn to God, because the flesh is weak, but the Spirit indeed is willing.
When Samson in the weakness of his flesh cried unto the God, God did open the
water taps for him, and he drunk and his spirit was quickened. A strong man
does not need the power of God, because he has confidence in his own power.
Because of this the rivers from the living waters are not flowing in the life
of strong men. But a little and weak man need living water and he also receive
it. Do not grow big in the congregation of God, but if you however grow big,
you have understood the spiritual growth wrongly. John the Baptist said: _He
(=Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease. In the congregation of God the
growth goes downwards and not upwards. A little and humble man receive from
God the living water, which revives his inner life and give him the will and
the power to serve God.
The Sin of Fornication
Then Samson went to Gaza, and
saw there a harlot, and went in unto her and Samson lay till midnight. Samson
was called to serve God and his ministry was to free the people of Israel from
the yoke of Philistines, that Israel can and may serve the living God. The
women were the weak point of Samson and a harlot was good enough to satisfy
the fleshly desires of Samson’s. Samson received a special anointing from God;
he got supernaturally powerful muscle strength, which purpose was to
conquering the Philistines and to set free the people of Israel. Samson didn't
understand the anointing that God had given him and its all-inclusive
influence. The anointing of God always points in direction to set the inner
man free from the bondage of sin. Samson should have received the full
anointing and this full anointing could have kept his heart pure from the sin
of fornication. The sin of fornication is a strong sin. Between a man and a
woman there is a strong sexual tension. The sin of fornication has a tendency
to go into the heart of man, which is under the desires and lust’s of the
flesh and sin offers the flesh the satisfaction by the enjoyment and pleasures
of the flesh. The sin of fornication penetrates the heart of the man and
brings in the feeling of the power of sexuality, which fulfills by the power
of the sexuality in the man through the releasing; the pleasant feeling of the
flesh. This result is in an addiction for the flesh of the man to having
sexual intercourse with the woman. The sin of fornication also penetrates the
heart of the woman and brings a strong desire to have the satisfaction for the
fleshly desire and lust. Because of the combination of these _ there are so
much of fornication in this world. The power of the Holy Spirit in the heart
of believers is against the fornication. The believer should in a disciplined
way fight against the desires of the flesh. It is important to remember that
who is joined to a harlot be one body with the harlot. The nature of the heart
of the harlot is the filth of sin and if you join a harlot your heart will be
polluted with the fornication.
There are two types of
fornication; the fleshly and the spiritual. In both these types is the same
kind of influences and motives of heart. A believer can fall into a strong
selfish self-glorification in which his flesh receives pleasure and good
feelings. A believer can experience a great satisfaction in his flesh when he
enjoys the admiration from others towards his ministry or towards that
admiration to this big and selfish person. The believer can also desire to
show forth his power in the field of spirituality and from this the flesh will
experience a great pleasure. The demonstration of the fleshly power in the
congregation presents itself in the will of being the first one, which is,
that one person will alone lead the whole congregation. Those believers who
are under the domination of the fleshly powers; compete with each other, by
pushing and forcing in the field of the ministries in the congregation. The
believer can also; by the power of these fleshly characteristics fall into
spiritual fornication together with idolaters. In many believers, who had
fallen into the Ecumenical fornication, works these fleshly powers very
strongly. By all means we have to severely take in account both fleshly
fornication as well as the spiritual fornication and endeavour by the Spirit
and the Word of God strengthen our calling, so that we would not fall into the
sins of these both types of fornication. God created the sexuality between man
and woman and God also created a place for the sexuality between the man and
the woman and it is a covenant between the man and the woman, which is called
by the name of marriage. Inside this covenant there is the right to the
practice of sexuality, all other forms of practicing sexuality is sin and
fornication. God has given those who has repented in their own life’s the
faith by His grace. God has also prepared for a place, where this covenant
relationship should be built up and to grow up. It is a covenant between God
and man, which is to be handled by the Holy Spirit and the Word of the God and
also with healthy fellowship with other believers. All those building
materials which obtain their strength from idolatry is spiritual fornication
from which one has to repent.
The Philistines compassed him
in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet
all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him. And
Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the
gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and
put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of a hill that is
before Hebron. Samson came from being with a harlot and still the anointing of
God worked in him. God is gracious and long suffering and wants us to repent,
if we have sinned against Him. That is why He didn't remove immediately the
anointing from Samson. This is also the same in our lives, if we do sin
against God, He will not immediately remove His anointing from our lives, but
He waits for our repentance. But if we want to live in sin, then God will
remove His anointing from our lives. In this time were we are now living, has
both the fleshly and the spiritual fornication entered into the congregation
of God, both the servants of the Word and those in the congregation, both men
and women fall into the sin of fornication. The repentance and to humble
before the God is needed, both for those who are fallen into the sin of
fornication and in the congregation of God. If someone repents from falling
into the sin, then the people of God have to forgive, and then no more digging
and accusation is to be done, for those who have repented in their lives. But
also we have to love and honour God, thus that we don’t commit fornication
(fleshly and spiritual) in our lives.
Delilah
And it came to pass
afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was
Delilah. And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her,
Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may
prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give
thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver. The sin wants to entice
your heart, in order to conquer you. The sin uses strongly the opposite sex
that we backslide or abandon God. To many who have become believers, it
suddenly shows up a un-believing person, who is un-resistible and desirable
into their lives. The great love stoles away the faith and the love to God.
The Bible exhorts believers to marry other believers, because then they are
able to serve God together. An un-believing partner (husband/wife) draws
easily the new believer back to the world. If you have become a believer and
you are married, then you have to stay and love your partner. But, if the
un-believing partner wants to divorce you, then don’t be set under blame, you
are then according to the teaching of the Bible free from this marriage and
nobody can accuse you and bind you to this marriage. Nevertheless, the love
can keep together the marriage of a un-believer and of a believer and we
should endeavour to work for this sake. The sin wants to conquer you and bind
you, and if the sin be successful to bind you, this will result that your
flesh will be depressed. The sin will then try to lead the depressed person to
depart from the way of the faith. The depressed person only sees his sin and
failure. The consequences of this are hopelessness and oppression. The next
step is then to move back into the world. The sin will pay a high price to
have you conquered, thousand or one hundred pieces of silver and maybe more.
If the believers understand how much the sin works in order to make them to
fall into sin and backslide and depart from the faith, then we really want to
encourage our sister and brother to stay and grow the faith. The Bible tells
us about the wiles of the devil, this word _wiles_ is (methodeia), and it
means conspiracy and treacherous. The Satan conspires and weaves a treacherous
plan, and he studies the weaknesses of your flesh and prepares an exactly
measured sin for your flesh. But, thanks to the Lord, according to the
teaching of the Bible _we are not ignorant of his devices._. If you study the
Word of God and let His_ Spirit work in you, so you will surely recognize the
devices of Satan and abandon the works of the flesh.
Delilah urge Samson to reveal
wherein his great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to
afflict thee. Do not negotiate with the sin. The sin appeals to the emotions
of your flesh, but if you give yourself to it, it will in the end anyway bind
and depress you. And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green
withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man. The
sin wants you to be as the other people, who are the slaves under the desires
and pleasures of the sin. Resist the Satan and the sin and command them to
withdraw from your life. Do not want to be as other people, but let your will
be to live your life with Christ. Be you too, as other people are; that is the
old song of Satan, which he has already been singing for thousands years.
Satan wants to stop you from arriving to the golden city, New Jerusalem, which
God has prepared those who loves God that is why he nags to you this same old
song. Nevertheless; be a man of God. Delilah tried to find out what was the
secret behind the power of Samson. Anyhow Samson did not reveal his secret and
by this Samson broke the ropes bounded by the Philistines, off his arms. When
you are not surrender to sin, the sin will not get grip on you. You can, as
Samson did, break loose the ropes of sin, which tries to bind you in its grip.
And it came to pass, when she
(Delilah) pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul
was vexed unto death; That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There
hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from
my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I
shall become weak, and be like any other man. The sin is very rude and tries
everyday oppress you and depress you. The sin gnaw and gripe from you day to
day. The sin circles you and walks around you, and seeks the opportunity to
make its nest into your heart. But, remember, when we give the authority of
our lives to Jesus, and then we are granted us to everyday walk in the triumph
in Christ with Him. When Delilah noticed, that Samson had revealed his secret
unto her, she called the Philistines to come to her. People of Philistine came
and brought money with them. When you surrender to sin, so it is to sin
invitation to come and live in your sin. Remember: even though a believer
falls a sin he is not possessed with demons. Such doctrine is indeed too much
among the believers in nowadays. Believer, who has made sin grieves the holy
Spirit, which lived in the heart of the believer, but not Holy Spirit however
removed from the heart of the believer. After when believer gives up from the
living God, so after then Holy Spirit leaves the believer. No Spirit of God
and evil spirit can be at the same time in the heart of the believer. This
kind of doctrine is sick and absurd teaching, which brings fear and distress
to heart of the man. And this kind of life of unhealthy faith is not ruling by
the love of God, but under the fear, which are affected by the demons and the
evil spirits. God is not so absurd, that he allowed the Holy Spirit and
unclean spirit live at the same time the heart of the believer. Nation of God
must reject this kind of absurd teachings from theirs heart.
Delilah she made him sleep
upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the
seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went
from him,. The sin lulls into sleep and start to afflict the believer. The
power of God left Samson, because he revealed the secret of his power to
Delilah, because the love of Delilah was more important for Samson than the
call and anointing given by God. When we know the truth and God calls us to
stand in the gap in the wall, but if we fall in love with this world, then
will God withdraw His anointing from us. May we love more God than what is in
the world. And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke
out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake
myself. And he knows not that the LORD was departed from him. But the
Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and
bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.
It is also written in the
Bible, so we should understand that without God man walks blinded by the sin
in this world of darkness. The Satan wanted to make sure about that Samson
never again could serve the living God and therefore his eyes was put out. The
will of Satan is that we also should fall into sin and that our eyes should be
put out and to tear us into pieces, so you would never again be able to serve
the living God. This should cause us in believers so much pain, that we in
truth should begin to love God and doing His will and also support and
strengthen and helping in the Spirit of love our sisters and brothers in
Christ in their wrestling’s and battles. Then the lords of the Philistines
gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god,
and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into
our hand. And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said,
Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our
country, which slew many of us. And it came to pass, when their hearts were
merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they
called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they
set him between the pillars. This world and Satan rejoice if the believer
falls away from the faith. A backslide believer is also a cause for a laugh
and a entertainment for the people of this world. Or then it is said unto a
backslide believer, _Now at last you got into your senses and stopped to act
like a fool!_
The scoffing and the joy of
the Philistines brought back Samson’s heart to the Lord. And Samson called
unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen
me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the
Philistines for my two eyes. And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars
upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his
right hand, and of the other with his left. And Samson said, Let me die with
the Philistines. And he bowed himself with [all his] might; and the house fell
upon the lords, and upon all the people that [were] therein. So the dead which
he slew at his death were more than [they] which he slew in his life. Then his
brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought
[him] up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the burying place of
Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.
When Samson regrets and
repented and started to doing that into which he had been called to do, God’s
anointing returned to Samson. The sin and the Satan had torn Samson into
pieces making him disabled to work, but God in His great mercifulness saw unto
Samson and had mercy upon Samson. God is gracious and He is a loving God, who
however hates sin. Consider although Samson’s ability to work had all been
devastated and destroyed; still God could anoint Samson, so he however could
carry out his work as a servant of God. If you experience, that the enemy has
put out your eyes, shut your ears, stolen your heart, but if you anyhow turn
back wholehearted and call upon the Lord for help, so He will hear and help
you. You; who has involved yourself, into the Ecumenical satanic trap, you are
called by God to repent and return from the camp of Philistines into the camp
of Israelites to serve the living God. God is gracious and God is a loving
God, but He never accepts any form of sin and that is what Samson experienced,
who was the anointed of God. Samson did fall into love with a Philistine
woman, who passed a judgement over Samson and took away from him; his
inheritance from God. The repentance brought back the anointing into the life
of Samson, but Samson had to pay with his own life because of his failure.
This is a serious warning for you and me, that it is not possible to fooling
around and playing games with God. May the life story of Samson bring unto you
and me a healthy fear of God into our hearts, so we should serve the living
God with clean hearts and with a pure conscience.
