Galling
thing is generally some matter or person, also each of us life can be some
negative and irritating matters at least someone else could think about that
way. Reprobate Each reprobate,
and subject of the complaint and irritating maker is actually touchstone that
how committed we are to Jesus.
If you react to negative irritation according to the will of God,
which is love your neighbour, so these touchstones come to you for the steps
to grow and to root deeply to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy
Spirit. If you react to those
irritations carnally, so from those come blockages into your life of the
faith, which strangle healthy growth to Jesus Christ. Only way to face these negative
irritations is to surrender and make repentance from those irritations
matters, which dwells in your heart and also from those irritants, which you
see in your neighbour, so those you must learn to tolerate. Attention! When I write now from the negative irritation I don't mean
sin of your neighbour, but your sin - in other words your carnal reactions
towards your neighbour. How to rebuke But
when someone has done sin so the Bible gives us advice how to handle these
kinds of situation: Gal
6:1:Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual,
restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou
also be tempted If
some believer lives in in the sin or has done the sin, so the Bible gives to
us a permission to rebuke him/her. But this rebuke must happen for
spiritually not carnally and only spiritual person can make that rebuke.
Rebuke must make in the Spirit of meekness, which means that you honour and
love him/her, not through such kind of attitude that you are lynching your
brother or sister in Christ. The
purpose of biblical rebuke is restore the things back to the order of the
biblical faith. The purpose of rebuke is not humiliate your neighbour and
show how correct and biblical doctrine you have, but this rebuke must do with
all meekness and mansuetude, that your neighbour would see his/her condition
in where sin is destroying him/her. So we don't lynch our neighbour, but with
tears we advice and love him/her and we are like this way leading him/her out
from the sin, which is destroying him/her. My
wife's mother told me, how her mother raises her children to the right
direction. She told: When children was sometimes undisciplined, so mother say
to children that go and get small branch of birch. And after that mother
tender slapped with that birch to the buttock, in that way that there was no
pain on the children. But those little children felt pain in their heart,
because they saw tears of mother and her bad condition, when she have to use
that birch. He who
carries out rebuking must have that kind of attitude, that he/she will do it
with tears for the sake of his/her neighbour, because he/she loves his/her
neighbour and he/she is sorrowful, because of the sin, which is destroying
his/her neighbour. That kind of attitude in rebuking returns surely many
things back to right way according to the biblical faith. If you wanna rebuke
your neighbour for that reason, that you wanna show to your neighbour how
correct your doctrine is only worsen the condition of your neighbour. Sin
must always reveal, but love the sinner and handle the sinners always
according to the teaching of the Bible: If your neighbour is taken in some
fault, you, the spiritual ones, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness,
considering yourself, that you not also be tempted, Gal 6:1. I have
born and live here in Finland, where is sauna culture (sauna= bath-house),
from where I have noticed, when I’m in the sauna with my family so there each
member of the family reach his/her sponge to other and turn his/her dirty
back and ask that can you wash my dirty back. I wish that same kind of
attitude would be in the congregation of the God. The examples about irritating matters -
People who you daily meet, so you can see them as the sources of the
irritation - They
make unpleasant matters, which irritate you - They
behave in the way, which makes you for angry - They
speak in the way from which you do not like - The
place where you live or in your school or work or your congregation are
matters which can irritate you. -
Those places are uncomfortable , because there isn’t those things, which
there should be like you want -
There is something what there shouldn’t be; like this you think SURPRISE! Also in the heart of each of us lives
irritating features at least some people can think by that way. Irritating matter is something such
kind of, which get you to know abhorrence and anger and negative feelings
towards your neighbour. The
reasons to irritating matters: -
Personal injury on the internal soul -
Ambition and pride, which wants dominate other people and this creates
irritation into our hearts -
Incompetence to live certain kind of life (which we have set to our mind) -
Discontent in our internal world. - Most
important reason is that when sin controls our life Care-program of negative irritating matters What
to do when irritations gets us feels anger and be nervous and anger and
negative things conquer our heart?
Let Christ Jesus affects in you love in that way, that irritants leave
from you and this way they also leave from other people. The Bible teaches, that the love of
God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us,
Romans 5:5. And so you and I
have possibility to love our neighbours. Jeering of our neighbour and anger and negative feelings
towards our neighbour doesn't belong to the life of the believer. In the beginning of the life of the
faith our carnal needle are sharp, but Christ calls us to His school, in
which He frost us as goldsmith frost jewels. In this school we will learn to respect and love our
neighbour. Instead
of carnal needles, Jesus Christ teaches us to love our neighbour in the
truth. The sin we can’t ever
accept as believers and not favour, but Christ Jesus always teach us to love
our neighbour. Our
neighbours are also tools, by which Lord Jesus raise us fruit of the Spirit,
in other words our neighbour are not our enemies, just vessels, which are
necessary to healthy growth to Christ.
When
anger and negative things conquer your heart, so try to stop and start
expedition to matters, which cause to you negative irritations. Anger and negativeness exposes to
you, that you don’t live in the Spirit of God, but in the carnal state of
mind, from which God wants to grow you, that you can produce spiritual fruit
through His word and Spirit. Be
honest to yourself and confess your sin to God, the sin which had been
exposed. And after that begins healthy growth to Christ. When to your way comes irritants
matters confess your sin, apologize and forgive other, so these processes
leads you to grow spiritually to the ripe and healthy faith, Matt 15:13 and
Rev 3:18. Jesus is as goldsmith Jesus
Christ is like goldsmith master.
In large heat to surface rises dirt and filth, from which is not
earlier known anything. Jesus
Christ uses continually flame (fire of the Holy Spirit) until gold has been cleaned. When gold is clean, Jesus Christ sees
there His own faces. Through the
faith Jesus Christ builds from you a person, who reflect the similarity as
image of God. But before it from
our innermost parts rises always new
planting of dirt, which Christ wants ta take away from our heart. Ask,
that Jesus Christ affects in you will and working through the Holy Spirit who
dwells in you, so that the will of God can take place in your life, Phil 2:13. Search from the Bible the
right properties of word of God and give the Holy Spirit fill with them your
internal world; Spirit of fruit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, Gal 5:22. Remember! If you have asked that Jesus Christ
can make from you the real disciple, so Jesus has much work in you and in
me. We are as rough stone blocks
that must rub and frost and cut.
Each cut to old man hurts.
However, Jesus Christ makes that cutting operation so tender and
loving way, that you can stand it.
Sinful part from our heart God removes from us and replace it
according to the will of God through His word and the Holy Spirit, which is righteous life from mercy of
