Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene and the Holy Grail

In his book Dan Brown brings up a concept called Sangreal, which is familiar to the world by the name the Holy Grail. Dan writes that sangreal is a collection of writings and the Holy Grail itself which is not a cup. Dan tells us that Da Vinci knew the location of the Holy Grail and painted IT. In his book Dan writes that if one wants to know what the Holy Grail is then one first would have to understand the Bible.

After this Dan writes in his book that the Bible is written by men and not by God. According to Brown’s book man made the Bible a historical story, which has been modified by countless translations, additions and corrections and the present Bible has been collated by the emperor of Rome, Constantine the Great. Da Vinci Code tells us that the Christianity of Constantine contains relics of paganism e.g. mother child cult Isis Horus, out of which came Mary and infant Jesus, the Egyptian halos, out of which came the halos of the church’s saints, mitre of a bishop, the altar and eating God when partaking of the  Communion come all from paganism.

According to the book Jesus Christ was a significant historical person, and there is nothing original in Christianity. Dan Brown writes in his book that Mithras god, who was called the son of god and the light of the earth was born on the 25th of December and when he died he was buried and he was risen on the third day.  The 25th of December was the birthday of Osiris, Adonis and Dionysos. Dan tells in his book that originally the Christians kept the Sabbath as they day of rest but Constantine changed it to Sunday (the first day), which is the day of the sun. Then Dan writes in his book that most Christians when sitting in their churches that they are not aware that they sit there on the weekly day of worship of the god of sun. Also Dan Brown writes that at the Council of Nicaea Constantine elevated Jesus as being divine and made Jesus God since before that council Jesus was described as mortal human being, true, a historical person. To “prove” this Dan writes that the Dead Sea scrolls and the Nag Hammad texts tell the real stories of the Holy Grail and Jesus. Brown writes that it was not God but man who formed the idea of the fall that took place in Paradise.

According to Da Vinci Code, Da Vinci has painted the Holy Grail in his work The Last Supper and according to the book The Holy grail is not an object but a person. According to the book the Holy Grail ia also an ancient symbol of feminity and the Holy Grail represents feminity and goddess which has been destroyed by the church. According to the book it is Mary Magdalene who is the Holy Grail and whom Da Vinci painted in his work the Last Supper. Also, the book claims that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene, because Jesus’ marriage sounds more reasonable than the present idea of the Bible that Jesus was a bachelor. Then Da Vinci Code book brings up the Gnostic gospel of Philip, which says:

And the companion of the […] Mary Magdalene […] loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples […]. They said to him “Why do you love her more than all of us?”

(The Gnostic Society Library, the Nag Hammadi Library, The Gospel of Philip;  translated by Wesley W. Isenberg)

To support the text above the book says that every scholar in Aramaic language can tell you that the companion meant specifically a spouse in Jesus’ days.

Still addition to this Brown tells us that the Gospel of Mary Magdalene says this:

Peter answered…”Did he really speak with a woman without our knowledge (and) not openly? Are we to turn about and all listen to her? Did he prefer her to us?”…Levi answered and said to Peter, “Peter, you have always been hot-tempered. Now I see you contending against the woman like the adversaries. But if the Savior made her worthy, who are you indeed to reject her? Surely the Savior knows her very well. That is why he loved her more than us

(The Gospel of Mary Magdalene, BG 8502.1, Introduced by Karen L. King, Translated by George  W. Macrae and R. McL. Wilson, Edited by Douglas M. Parrott)

After this Brown goes further on in his story and tells us in his book that according to the unchanged gospels Mary Magdalene was made the continuator of the church and not Peter, that is why Peter was angry. According to Brown’s book Mary Magdalene was Jesus’ right hand and of royal family. The book goes on and tells us that the story of the Holy Grail is a legend of royal bloodline in which the Holy Grail is Mary Magdalene and her womb which continued Jesus’ royal family as Jesus was the father of Mary Magdalene’s child. According to Brown the Holy Grail, sang – real means royal blood and Mary Magdalene is the mother of Jesus’ royal line of descent. The book goes on with always new sensational points claiming that after Jesus was crucified, Mary, who was pregnant fled the holy land and went to France where she gave birth to Sarah, Jesus’ descendant to continue Jesus’ family tree. According to Da Vinci Code book this why Mary Magdalene is the first ancestress of the royal family. Dan Brown writes in his book that this is the reason why the Catholic Church does  not want this secret to be revealed to the world because that would deprive Jesus off his divinity and the Catholic Church and Christianity off monopoly of heaven. Also according to the book Jesus’ line of descent has continued to our days.

Christianity and the relics of paganism

The things that Dan brings up about the relics of paganism are somewhat true. The mother child cult came to the church from pagan religions, in Babylon Semiramus – Tammuz, In Egypt Isis – Horus, in Rome Mater – Matuata.

In Babylon and in the other pagan cultures the religious leaders wore a head covering, shaped like a fish head. In Babylon they believed that God walks wearing a fish-shaped head covering on his head. This worship of fish God Dagon was common also in Medes-Persia, Egypt, Assyria  and Rome where also the popes began to wear  this head covering (mitra). Dagon is derived from the words dag (fish) and on (sun).

In Egypt people worshipped the sun and in the altars there were round waffles shaped like the sun made of unleavened bread. The Egyptian priests prayed over the little waffles in order to make them holy. This bread represented the body of the god of the sun and in the middle of it were the initials HIS (Isis, Horus, Seb; the Egyptian trinity). Then they told the people the a miracle had happened. They said that the waffles had changed into the flesh of the sun-god Osiris and after that the people ate its’ god. This Egyptian bread-god-ritual resembles almost perfectly the Catholic doctrine of the Eucharist, in which the Catholic priest transubstantiates/changes the bread into Jesus.

In 354 Liberius ordained that the official birthday of Christ was the 25th of December. Tammuz’ (dead god) birthday was celebrated on the 25th of December in Babylon. The 25th of December was also Mithra’s (the Persian god) and the Caesar’s (of Rome) birthday. There is no commandment in the Bible to celebrate Chris’s birthday. Jesus did not impose the Christmas, neither did the apostles and the early church did not celebrate Christ’s birthday on the 25th of December at all. It goes without saying that the Catholic church of Rome wanted Christ’s birthday to be the 25th of December so that they could continue celebrating Tammuz. So there was celebration in Babylon on the 25th of December. In Babylon the 25th of December was the solstice and the birthday of sun-god Tammuz. The Babylonian word “yule” means a child. The 25th of December was called the yule day also among the pagan Anglo-Saxon. The Anglo-Saxon were people who lived in the British Islands and who spoke Germanic languages. Also in Scandinavia they had yule celebration, which took place on the 25th of December and it was also the day of solstice. In Babylon Tammuz was called also by the names of Baal-Berith and the Lord of the fir tree. The Egyptians and the Persians celebrated their god’s birthday on the 25th of December. Child-sun-god is referred to by several different names such as Mithra, Horus, Isvara, Bacchus, Iacchus, Adonis, Attis etc. The origin of the child-sun-god worship is in Babylon where Tammuz is the child. Thus the origin of celebrating the birthday of the “divine” child on the 25th of December is in Babylon from where it spread also elsewhere in the world. The 25th of December was a festival day in Rome as the feast of Tammuz on the 25th of December has arrived there, too. In Babylon the feast of Tammuz included a coniferous tree which was decorated with round balls that symbolized the sun. The Babylons worshiped the sun that is why they decorated the spruce with “sun balls”. The 25th of December included a swine sacrifice, too.

In 321 Constantine made the sun day, that is Sunday, a rest day. The Laodicean Council ordained in 364: “Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord’s Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.”

Dan Brown was right in there that Constantine changed Sabbath to Sunday. Within the Catholic Church there are some brave who have the courage to say which is the true biblical rest day. What follows are some testimonies for the Sabbath by the catholic:

Peter R. Kraemer, Catholic Church Extension Society (1975),Chicago, Illinois.

"Regarding the change from the observance of the Jewish Sabbath to the Christian Sunday, I wish to draw your attention to the facts:

"1) That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath. The fact that they do not, but on the contrary observe the Sunday, stultifies them in the eyes of every thinking man.

"2) We Catholics do not accept the Bible as the only rule of faith. Besides the Bible we have the living Church, the authority of the Church, as a rule to guide us. We say, this Church, instituted by Christ to teach and guide man through life, has the right to change the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament and hence, we accept her change of the Sabbath to Sunday. We frankly say, yes, the Church made this change, made this law, as she made many other laws, for instance, the Friday abstinence, the unmarried priesthood, the laws concerning mixed marriages, the regulation of Catholic marriages and a thousand other laws.

"It is always somewhat laughable, to see the Protestant churches, in pulpit and legislation, demand the observance of Sunday, of which there is nothing in their Bible."

James Cardinal Gibbons, The Faith of our Fathers, 88th ed., pp. 89.

"But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify."

Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism 3rd ed., p. 174.

"Question:  Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?

"Answer:  Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her-she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority."

James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore (1877-1921), in a signed letter.

"Is Saturday the seventh day according to the Bible and the Ten Commandments? I answer yes. Is Sunday the first day of the week and did the Church change the seventh day -Saturday - for Sunday, the first day? I answer yes . Did Christ change the day'? I answer no!

"Faithfully yours, J. Card. Gibbons"

Catholic Virginian Oct. 3, 1947, p. 9, art. "To Tell You the Truth."

"For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath day, that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday. Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the[Roman Catholic] church outside the Bible."

Peter Geiermann, C.S.S.R., The Converts Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1957), p. 50.

"Question: Which is the Sabbath day?

"Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.

"Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?

"Answer. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday."

T. Enright, C.S.S.R., in a lecture at Hartford, Kansas, Feb. 18,1884.

"I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, 'Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.' The Catholic Church says: 'No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.' And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in a reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church."

Some Protestants testimonies, which have courage to say what is the truth about Sabbath:

Augsburg Confession of Faith art. 28; written by Melanchthon, approved by Martin Luther, 1530; as published in The Book of Concord of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Henry Jacobs, ed. (1 91 1), p. 63.

"They [Roman Catholics] refer to the Sabbath Day, a shaving been changed into the Lord's Day, contrary to the Decalogue, as it seems. Neither is there any example whereof they make more than concerning the changing of the Sabbath Day. Great, say they, is the power of the Church, since it has dispensed with one of the Ten Commandments!"

Dr. Augustus Neander, The History of the Christian Religion and Church Henry John Rose, tr. (1843), p. 186.

"The festival of Sunday, like all other festivals, was always only a human ordinance, and it was far from the intentions of the apostles to establish a Divine command in this respect, far from them, and from the early apostolic Church, to transfer the laws of the Sabbath to Sunday."

John Theodore Mueller, Sabbath or Sunday , pp. 15, 16.

"But they err in teaching that Sunday has taken the place of the Old Testament Sabbath and therefore must be kept as the seventh day had to be kept by the children of Israel .... These churches err in their teaching, for Scripture has in no way ordained the first day of the week in place of the Sabbath. There is simply no law in the New Testament to that effect."

D. L. Moody, Weighed and Wanting (Fleming H. Revell Co.: New York), pp. 47, 48.

The Sabbath was binding in Eden, and it has been in force ever since. This fourth commandment begins with the word 'remember,' showing that the Sabbath already existed when God Wrote the law on the tables of stone at Sinai. How can men claim that this one commandment has been done away with when they will admit that the other nine are still binding?"

Mary is not Jesus’ wife nor the continuator of the church

Mary Magdalene is not the Holy Grail nor is she Jesus’ spouse. The claims about Jesus’ wife are based on the Apocrypha texts that lack the authorship of the canon of the Bible. Also, the Da Vinci Code claims that Jesus made Mary Magdalene the leader of the church. The Lord Jesus Christ himself is the head of the church and according to the New Testament he left the continuation of the church on the shoulders of the twelve apostles, not Mary’s, not Peter’s but on the shoulders of all the twelve apostles.

The disciple whom Jesus loved

According to the false claim Mary Magdalene was Jesus’ wife. Mary Magdalene was not Jesus’ wife because Jesus did not have a wife. This is clearly proved in the Bible:

John 19:
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he said unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Luke 23:49And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

The false information says that Mary Magdalene is the disciple whom Jesus loved. But the Bible disproves this. By the cross of Jesus were standing all his acquaintance (the disciples), his mother (Mary) and his mother’s sister and Mary the wife of Cleophas and Mary Magdalene. Jesus was hanging on the cross and looked at his mother and the disciple whom he loved and said to his mother. “Woman, behold thy son!” Those words of Jesus reveal that the question was not of a woman (Mary Magdalene) but of a man, which was John the disciple.

In the same way, making Mary Magdalene the continuator of the church is based on the unbiblical gnostic gospels, that lack the authorship of the Bible’s testimony.

The Catholic Church teaches also wrongly about Peter as the pope referring to the gospel of Matthew chapter 16 verse 18. The teaching of the Catholic Church is as follows:

Catholic catechism:

880 When Christ instituted the Twelve, "he constituted [them] in the form of a college or permanent assembly, at the head of which he placed Peter, chosen from among them."398 Just as "by the Lord's institution, St. Peter and the rest of the apostles constitute a single apostolic college, so in like fashion the Roman Pontiff, Peter's successor, and the bishops, the successors of the apostles, are related with and united to one another."399

881 The Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.400 "The office of binding and loosing which was given to Peter was also assigned to the college of apostles united to its head."401 This pastoral office of Peter and the other apostles belongs to the Church's very foundation and is continued by the bishops under the primacy of the Pope.

882 The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter's successor, "is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and of the whole company of the faithful."402 "For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered."403

These teachings are completely against the Bible. The biblical shepherding means that a local church is led by the elders to whom the Bible refers to also by the names of bishops, shepherds and leaders.

Thus the church is not led by one man and from outside but it is led by those within the church in certain locality. In the second century A.D. Ignatius, who was in the church of Antioch claimed one man leadership position in the church and as a result he rose to a higher position than the other elders and started to call himself by the name of a bishop. The word bishop came from the Greek word episkopos, whish means BISHOPS (elders, shepherds). Those elders that were under bishop Ignatius were called presbyteros, which means the elders. Thus, the word bishop referred then to only one elder of the local church. Next the bishop was inducted into leadership of a whole province or a larger area. The bishop was then responsible for several churches and not just one. This kind of abandonment of the independency of the churches permitted the development that resulted in the birth of  nation-wide and international churches and revivalist movements with the denominational leaders  against the word of the Bible. When the pope originated in the Catholic Church, it was justified by this distorted position of the bishop. A track of errors led to great deception.

Matt 16:18-19, And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter (Petros), and upon this rock (Petra) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus doesn't build congregation on the foundation of man, because He  is the head of congregation. What this verse is teaching? Because Jesus is the head of the congregation, and nobody other, so I will write next to clarify this matter, even though the Bible don't tell direct to this matter; Jesus said by indicating Peter on His finger and said; you are Peter (petros) Jesus continued by indicating on His finger to Himself and said; and upon this rock [petra] I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Everybody who believes the Bible understands, that Jesus Christ is the head of congregation, only He, Amen.

Eph 5:23: For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

We look over next at few Bible places, which indicate clearly who really is the rock in the word of God.

1 Cor 10:1-4, Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock

(petra) that followed them: and that Rock (petra) was Christ. Spiritual Rock and the head of the Church is Jesus Christ not Peter.

Rock words in this Bible place are in Greek petra. The Rock is Jesus Christ.

Room 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock (petra) of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Stumbling stone and rock of offence is Jesus Christ. In this verse word rock is in Greece text petra. This verse is quotation for Isa 8:14. Jesus is the rock, not Peter.

Psalms 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

Psalms 89:26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

Rock of salvation is Christ Jesus, in the clear salvation plan of the Bible. In these places is Hebrew word tsur, which means God and rock. This tsur means so God and rock. So the message of the Bible about it that who is the rock is completely clear, the rock is Jesus Christ.

Catholic Church teaches, that when in Aramaic text Matt 16:18 is word Cephas = rock, so Peter is that rock where Christ found His congregation; and that Peter was the first Pope. That kind of teaching is absurd claim, because we cannot find it in the Bible. In the Bible is not word Pope. And the Bible also proves to us that God is the rock and not a man.

Roman Emperor Constance "turned" to Christianity 312 A.D and he was pontifex maximus (high priest). Constance took for himself a name vicar Christi (vicar of the Christ). From the new religion of Constance came common (catholic=katholikos). So from the citizens of Rome was made “Christians” without regret and conversion. But very interesting is, that in Greek text of NT is not Greek word katholikos= catholic. So Jesus Christ and Peter and Paul did not teach anything about Catholic Church, but they taught from church (congregation) of God.

The last supper

Dan brown claims in his book that at the last supper next to Jesus was sitting Mary Magdalene, who was Jesus’ spouse. According to all four gospels those who were having the last supper  were the twelve disciples, the apostles that Jesus had chosen, and they were all men. Bible’s testimony proves the claim of Dan Brown’s book to be a lie because at the last supper there were only men present.

Leonardo Vinci’s work The Last Supper is a product of his imagination and does not really present the real occasion nor the persons being present but is imaginative and influenced by Gnostic stories, and based on these Leonardo has pictured Mary attending the last supper. Leonardo created every person in his work using his imagination and none of them really looked like as he has pictured them since Leonardo did not paint his work from life but he painted an event that had taken place ca. 1400 years before Leonardo was born.

How was the New Testament born?

Brown said that it was Constantine who put together the present Bible. The early church read the existing scriptures the first of which were of course the Old Testament books. After that the New Testament texts were spread to the church the latest of which was completed in 96 A.D. The Bible tells us that the epistles of the apostles circulated in the churches which means that their epistles were available to be read in the churches of God from very early on. Paul knew about the existence of Peter’s epistles and likewise Peter knew about the existence of Paul’s epistles. Thus long before the birth of the Roman Catholic Church the canon was completed and in the use of the church. The Roman Catholic Church did not bring about the canon but brought into use the already existing books and epistles which were recognized by others and which were in the use of the early church in their entirety. Apostle Peter wrote his epistles to the believers in Asia Minor and Asia. It appears from Peter’s writings that Paul’s epistles were read in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia. So, Paul’s as well as Peter’s epistles were read in the churches in Asia Minor  and in Asia. Also The Revelation of John was read in the seven churches in Asia after it was finished in 96 A.D. It is apparent from the previous Biblical information that the epistles of the apostles were copied and sent to the existing churches. Paul said to the Colossians that his epistle was to be sent to the church of Laodiceans, and be read there, too. The epistles of the apostles were thus spread to the existing churches of God and little by little they spread all places where churches of God existed. E.g. Clemens of Alexandria (ca. 150- ca. 215 A.D.) knew all the texts of the New Testament and regarded then as the word of God. The word of God and its’ teaching has thus been in the use of the church of God all the time throughout its’ history. The Roman Catholic Church canonized the Bible and gives the picture that it has given the Bible to the mankind because this way it would have the monopoly position in interpreting and teaching the Bible. The Catholic Church of Rome did not give us the New Testament canon but God did through the writers of the New Testament. The Catholic Church of Rome thus canonized the already existing books based on the letters that the church had. Claiming to have canonized the New Testament the Roman Catholic Church wants to seal the false teachings that they market as the “truth” to the mankind.

Marcion, who was said to be a Gnostic heretic (ca.85-160 A.D.) did a new canonization of the New Testament of his own. Marcion accepted only the Gospel of Luke and ten of Paul’s epistles into his canon. I state now that our “church history” is rather one-sided because the Catholic Church killed its’ opponents and destroyed their works and has put the imprint on its’ opponents that we can read in history books. The historical records of the Roman Catholic Church can thus be considered biased since it has destroyed once existing texts. Thus the actions and historical records of the Catholic Church can not be considered reliable in all respects. As for Marcion, I will not take a stand for nor against him, but I do state that Gnosticism is a heretical teaching. Still, the incomplete canon of Marcion was one of the most powerful reasons which later led to the official canonization by the church. The incomplete canon of Marcion and the heretical teachings were the starting shot for the official canonization of the New Testament texts by the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church rose against the heretical teachings and that is why it made the official canonization but still at the same time before and after the official canonization the Roman Catholic Church itself taught e.g. these heresies:

375 A.D. Started worshipping of dead saints and angels.

378 A.D. Roman bishop Damascus inherit paganism titles Pontifex Maximum and Vicarius Christi. Like this way from the Pope's seat came openly heir of ancient Babylon high priest cult. After this event came inside of Roman Catholic Church a lot of Babylonian ceremonies to commanding position. Also lot of other pagan religion doctrines penetrated inside the Roman Catholic Church.

381 A.D. Started unofficial prayers to Virgin Mary (Mother of God) and Queen of the Heaven.

After these years more and more pagan doctrines became the teachings of the Catholic Church. What is remarkable is that in 1546 the Roman Catholic Church canonized the Apocrypha that were considered heretical by the church fathers. Thus, the Bible of the Roman Church includes also the works of the heretics.

The Gnostic Gospels

The so called Apocrypha of the New Testament (The Gnostic Gospels) do not belong to the books of the Bible and most of them were written in the second century or later; so they are much younger than the canonical texts of the New Testament. The latest canonical text The Revelation saw the light in ca. 96 A.D. The Revelation of John ended the chain of Divine revelation, its’ message was for that time and will be till the final moment of mankind’s earthly history. So, no new revelation was needed anymore because the revelation concerning the whole historical era of mankind was already given. And before that everything that is essential was already said and brought up. The Apocrypha of the New Testament was born much later than The Revelation of John. Also this tells us that the new revelation was from man and did not have the Divine authority since The Revelation of John was the end of God’s biblical revelation history. The Apocrypha of the New Testament share one feature: they show the influence of Gnosticism. The features characteristic of the Gnostic texts are also the following: Gnosticism placed itself in a higher position than Christianity and Gnosticism did not believe that Jesus was God. The foregoing features prove themselves that Bible’s teaching can not be proved with the Gnostic Apocrypha, because Gnosticism placed itself higher than Christianity and believing Jesus to be an ordinary man made them people who did not want to have biblical faith but rather they wanted to prove it wrong elevating their own faith. Thus the Gnostic texts can no way be considered the original texts of Christianity or works belonging to Christianity because the Gnostics regarded Christianity as their enemy and the Gnostics’ faith was  “orthodox”. In reality the Gnostics were in the same boat of deception than the church institution; they had different kind of teachings but the inspiration for the teachings came from the same source: the headquarters of darkness.

The early church did not consider the Gospels of Philip and Mary Magdalene biblical because they were not canonical. The Gospel of Mary saw the light in the 3rd century and a slightly modified version of it appeared in the 5th century, in which woman’s position as a disciple was slightly changed; and in addition to that the Gospel of Mary belongs to Gnostic-Egyptian Christianity thus lacking the authority of the Bible. Thus, Brown’s claim about unchanged texts falls through. The Gospel of Mary was also born more than one hundred years after the last biblical text was born. The Gospel of Mary belongs to the Apocrypha of the New Testament, it lacks the biblical authority, so its’ message is to be discarded and it has nothing to do with the truth. The birth of the Gospel of Philip is dated in 180-250 A.D. at the earliest, so it too was born much later than the biblical texts. The Gospel of Philip is full of Gnostic thoughts. In the Gospel of Philip  a wife is referred to with a word sime but at the point which Brown brings up the word koinonos, which appears in Greek New Testament nine times, does not even once mean a wife but a companion and fishing companion. In the light of all above Da Vinci gives once again a false statement; the word companion does not mean a wife and Mary was not Jesus’ wife. Dan Brown gives Jesus a minor role and makes Mary Magdalene and sacred feminity the hero of the book.

There were different views prevailing in Gnosticism, e.g. some Gnostics taught that divinity is accomplished uniting man and woman. This idea also led some Gnostics to pursue divinity through sexual intercourse between a man and woman. But there were also Gnostics, who abstained for sexual relationships. When we are aware of the fact that the Gnostics considered the Christians their enemies, and that they considered themselves better than the Christians, and they wanted to show in every way that Christianity was wrong, we understand why the so called Gnostic Gospels were born which aimed to defame and distort the real gospel. The Gnostics went so far in this that they wrote the Gospels “anew” by distorting them; they pictured Jesus an ordinary man, who was united with divinity through Mary Magdalene. The Gnostic claim that Mary Magdalene was Jesus’ wife suited the Gnostics because that way they tried to claim that their own doctrine was true and their thoughts were supported. The idea of Jesus being married (uniting with divinity through woman) is a Gnostic Gospel. In the same way that another group, the abstained group, got more grist to their mill claiming through the “new” Gospels that Jesus was leading a sinful and immoral sex life. This way both groups used the “new gospels” as their spokesmen for attacking the Christians and the message of the Bible. That was a clever plot to defame others, but fortunately we know that the source of inspiration for these Gnostic texts has been in the headquarters of darkness, and the Bible has the truth about these things. The Bible does not tell us that Jesus was married, and He really was not married because he was not born to this world to get married but to die as the sin-offering for the sin of the world

The message of Dan Brown’s book

It is apparent from Dan’s book that he wants to change the history convenient for himself ( to be in line with Gnosticism). As a student of many religions he does not only write fiction because in spite of the errors of the book concerning the Bible and Jesus, there were also historical facts in the book. Dan also as a student of spirituality (he says that he studies all religions) markets (pushes forward) his faith on others through the novel, very clever, isn’t it?

In his book Brown clearly brings up the elements, that Christianity has changed the original values that have prevailed in the world and that we should return to these values. The things that should be restored are:

- faith in goddesses

- faith in sacred feminine

- forsake your faith in the Bible and have faith in the Gnosticism

- prepare your mind to receive antichrist's religion

- attack against real disciples of Jesus Christ and word of God

The prophesies of the Bible

The Bible prophesies that in the last days the same things will happen as is the message of Dan Brown’s book. The Bible shoes that they are the fruit of apostasy and work of darkness; while Dan Brown considers them divine “enlightening”.

Dan Brown shows the way to goddess worship. The Bible prophesies that mankind is reigned by many whores (religions), whose source of strength is mother religion, that elevates herself to a queen. This mother religion makes woman a goddess, whish means, that the ancient goddess faith returns to deceive the mankind. That suits well the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, since the Roman Church has taught all through its’ history that Mary is the queen of heaven. In Babylon this queen of heaven was Semiramis, she was also a goddess. The goddess cult came from Babylon, and was called Isis in Egypt, Astarte in Phoenicia, Afrodites in Greece and Venus in Rome (Isis was worshipped in Rome, too). The teaching of the Roman Catholic Church about Mary is just the same as the above mentioned religions have. The Catholic Church says that it only respects Mary, not worships her, but the truth is that is some prayers of the Catholic Church Mary is described as the mediator of salvation, through the intercession of whom a Catholic will go to the glory of resurrection. This is why the Catholics pray (and worship) Mary.

2. Tim. 3:
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Dan Brown brings up the idea of sacred feminity that includes faith in the goddess and divinity that is accomplished through man uniting with woman in sexual intercourse. The Bible teaches that in the last days the mankind is seized with pleasures (Greek: philedonos – a friend of hedonism) and that they love pleasures more than they love God. After mentioning the pleasures, the Bible continues straight to teaching that people have a form of godliness but they deny the power thereof.  The mankind in the last days is seized with sexual pleasures and people approve of almost all kind of sexuality, also homosexuality.

In Dan Brown’s websites there is his interview concerning the book Da Vinci Code. In this interview Dan Brown says that he is a student of all religions. This statement of his is aptly describes the people in the last days; they have a form of godliness but still they forsake the real power and true God. This is exactly how the Bible describes the people in the last days; they regard themselves as divine but the power of God is not good enough for them and they choose deception and the power of apostasy. The people in the last days are happy with any religion and any belief except the belief in the God of the Bible. The mankind in the last days is thus in the spirit of polytheistic tolerance in which each can choose to himself a way of his own to believe having itching ears and all will do except the God of the Bible. Jesus said that all peoples will hate His disciples in the last days. This is undoubtedly partly because Jesus’ disciples will not approve of the wrong polytheistic divinity of the last days.

God breathed the Bible

The Da Vinci Code says that the Bible is written by men, not by God. According to Brown the Bible has changed in the course of time due to additions and corrections.

The Bible proves that God of the Bible is the right and only God and other gods are idols and other religions announcements can't lead people to the truth. The Bible tells very accuracy about the creation of the earth and mankind and about the history of mankind and its end when Jesus Christ comes. The Bible tells that one day Jesus Christ will come back when the whole world can see Him. The Bible tells also large catastrophes which will take place in the end of the days before Jesus comes. We are very near of that day when Jesus Christ comes, read Matthew chapter 24.

The fall

According to the Da Vinci Code the fall is man’s own invention. With this claim Dan Brown express his support for the God declining range of thoughts that has seized most of the mankind. This claim of Brown’s also leads the consciences of men to impenitence to carry out all kinds of sinful lusts and deeds. The fall is a biblical fact that is proved to be true e.g. by Jesus’ words that the people of the world will hate Jesus and his followers because a sinner hates light and does not want his sins to come to light. This is the truth. The man of this world is tolerant when the religion “gives it’s blessing” to his sin but when living faith shows sin as sin he then violently attacks and tries to defame God and living faith.

The Bible is true

Some amazingly accurate prophesies that have come true show that the Bible is the word of God because man is not capable of scoring a bull’s eye what comes to prophesies come true:

Gathering Israel and rebuilding the land

Ezekiel 34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

- (time of writing in 593- 571 B.C. –has been coming true since the end of the 19th century till the year 2006 and forwards…)

The Jews were in exile for centuries scattered everywhere among the peoples. But in the end of 19th century the Jews started to return to their own country, like the prophesies say. Ezekiel 34:13 says what has taken place that is God has already gathered a big part of the Jews back to their own country. In 1948 the Jews officially established the state of Israel!

Amos 9:14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. 15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

- (written in ca. 750 B.C.)

Jer 32:43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, it is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. 44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD.

-  (written in ca. 626-586 B.C. –has been coming true before and after the year 1948)

The prophecy that came trough Amos and Jeremiah speaks of the same thing that Ezekiel 34:13. But Amos 9:14,15 is an accurate description of what happened when the Israelites returned to their own land. The land was governed by the Turkish for ca. four hundred years, when they put a tax on the trees that were growing in the area. As a result of these trees was destroyed because they did not want to pay tax on them. This resulted in large areas becoming swampy and parched. When the state of Israel was born in 1948, the Jews had to pay a high price for these swampy and parched areas. The Israelites started to cultivate the land and they rebuilt the waste cities and planted vineyards etc. Thus, these prophecies of Amos and Jeremiah have come true perfectly according to the Scriptures!

Isaiah 51:3 For the LORD  shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

- (written in ca. 701-681 B.C. –has come true to a great extent)

Prophet Isaiah said that the Lord will restore the land of Israel and will make it a paradise. This has already come true to a great extent in the land of Israel. In the 20th century the Jews have cultivated the land and thus made much of the land a fruitful  agricultural land again. The many swamp areas in the land of Israel, which have been tainted by malaria, have been cultivated to fruitful agricultural land. From the Sea of Galilee (Lake Gennesareth) they have conducted water to the wilderness which, as a result of this, has begun to flourish  and has become fruitful. Some parts of the land of Israel do not flourish yet but large areas in the land of Israel have already become fruitful land. In the end of the 19th century Israel was described as wilderness, but today Israel produce food for many countries and more than 200 million trees have been planted in the land of Israel after the end of the 19th century.

God will gather the people of Israel from all counties

Ezekiel 34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

- (written in ca. 593-571 B.C. – began to come true in the late 19th century)

Ezekiel 34:13 began to come true in the late 19th century. In1948 Israel became independent and the state of Israel was established and since then there has been a strong migration of the Jews to Israel. The migration of the Jews to Israel is going on all the time. Thus, also this prophecy has been coming true and has in part already come true.

Isaiah 43: 5,6 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

- (written in ca. 701-681 B.C. – has already come true to a great extent)

Prophet Isaiah said, that the Jews will return to their homeland from the east, from the west, from the north and from the south. One is to remember that Isaiah lived for ca. 2700 years ago and what has happened to the Jews and to the land of Israel after that! In 732 the Assyrians carried the northern kingdom of Israel captive to ASSYRIA. Then Nebuchadnezzar invaded Judah and carries the people away. In 605 B.C. the first part of Judah was taken to Babylon. In 588 B.C. after Jerusalem had been taken, more of the people of the tribe of Judah were carried away. Then in 70 A.D. the Romans destroyed the city of Jerusalem and killed many and expelled hundreds of thousands of Jews from their own country. Since that the Jews have been scattered in almost every country of the world. But in the 20th century millions of Jews have returned to their homeland Israel from the east, from the west, from the north and from the south.

From the east: Many Jews from the Middle East moved to Israel in the beginning of the 20th century.

From the west: In the middle of the 20th century hundreds of thousand of Jews who were living in the west (Europe and the United States) began to move to Israel.

From the north:  The former Soviet Union (Russia) is situated in the north when viewed from Israel. The Soviet Union (Russia) did not allow the Jews to move to the land of Israel but restrained that.  But many countries have for years put pressure on the Soviet Union (Russia) to let the Jews return to their own country. Finally, in 1980 the Soviet Union (Russia) allowed the Jews to return to their own country. Till today, hundreds of thousands of Russian Jews have moved to Israel.

From the south: Ethiopia, which is situated in the south when viewed from Israel also restrained the Jews from returning to the land of Israel. But anyway in 1985 Ethiopia made the decision that the Jews are allowed to return to their homeland Israel. On the 25th of May 1991, 14 500 Ethiopian Jews were flown to the land of Israel.

Isaiah’s prophesy hit upon the right thing since he said: “I (the Lord) will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back”. Also this prophecy has come literally true since both the Soviet Union and Ethiopia had to give way and let the Jews return to their own country, and there is a constant migration of the Jews from Russia to Israel going on.

Isaiah’s prophesy hit upon the right thing also in the sense that the Jews returned from the ends of the world to their homeland Israel. During the last one hundred years the Jews have moved back to Israel from China, The United States, South Africa and Scandinavia, so, that is really from the ends of the EARTH.

Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for all people

Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people (am): all that burden (AMAS?) themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people (gojim) of the earth be gathered together against it.
4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

- (written ca. 520-518 B.C.)

In the last days Jerusalem will become a cup of trembling to all the people of Israel, since there is the word am in the text, which means the people of Israel, but in this context it means Judah. This trembling means that it will be a bone of contention and all satan’s lies and hatred will be concentrated in Jerusalem and this is also why the Jews will face world’s pressure on Israel and Jerusalem. Also all the peoples/gentiles (gojim = gentiles) will turn against Israel. Verse 2 says that Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling also to Judah, which means that something will happen inside Israel that some Jews will accept the plans to destroy Israel. With these plans to destroy Israel I do not mean bombing the city to the ground but dividing it what the Muslims are striving for. In the last days Jerusalem and dividing it will be put pressure on, and some Jews will agree to do, but in the end God will prevent this plan from coming true…so they will “burden themselves with it”, but in the end God will condemn it and gives Jerusalem back it’s unity and at the same time God will bring salvation to the Jews.

Verse 3 speaks about burdening oneself with Jerusalem and in the original text there is the word amas, which means to load or carry. So in the last days the question is of carrying a part of Jerusalem to the Palestinian Arabs, but God says in His word as follows: Ps 122:3 (AV) Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together;  Jerusalem is built (in David’s days) as a city that was composed of the upper and lower city, that were united and is one city. In the psalm God confirms that Jerusalem is not to be divided because it is compact together. However, in the end  God will put things as His will is and Jerusalem will one day be an undivided city! This prophesy also shows that Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for all people and that is has verily been. God has stated also this beforehand in His word.

Divinity of Jesus

Dan Brown writes in his book that the Council of Nicea made Jesus God, and not the Bible. In 325 A.D. in Nicea they correctly rejected as heretical the teaching of Areios, that Jesus was created and hence not God.

The Bible proves that Jesus is God and the Bible has been written long before the council of Nicea.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the Sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and saith unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:8-24

The Jews who knew well the Scriptures, saw what Jesus did and said, and they said to Jesus that he had made himself equal with God. It is interesting that no prophets of the old covenant or Moses, or any servant of God was ever accused of making themselves equal with God. And what makes this so interesting is that during the days of Elijah also, the dead were raised and the sick were healed. And through Moses, and many others too, God worked mightily, but they were never accused with such an accusation. The reason why Jesus was accused of making himself equal with God, was that Jesus was not an ordinary man as all the others, like Elijah, Moses etc., were. Jesus is God and the Son of God, and this is why He acted and behaved the way that made the Jews to accuse Him of blasphemy.

I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. John. 10:30-33

Jesus said that He and His Father are one. In the Greek text, there is the word one in verse 30 (as in the King James version in which there is a faithful translation of the verse: I and my Father are one.)

The Jews said that Jesus is a man who makes himself God. Jesus said that He and the Father are one and for this - "blasphemy"- the Jews wanted to stone Jesus. Jesus and the Father truly are one. The Bible teaches that God is one. That word one is echad in Hebrew, and it means one, first, some, only, united. Jesus said that He and Father are one, which truly means that Jesus Christ is God. This does not mean that Jesus is the Father like they teach in some denominations. The Bible teaches that God is one in the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Since Jesus Christ is not the Father, He is the Son of God.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:26-31

The disciples too said that Jesus is Lord and God. Jesus confirms the testimony of Thomas by saying: “because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” Thomas would have been guilty of blasphemy by saying that Jesus is God if He were not, and in that case Jesus should have rebuked Thomas for blasphemy. But since Jesus is God, He did not have to rebuke Thomas, but he only confirmed Thomas’ words “My Lord and my God” by saying that you believe that I am your Lord and your God, and because you have seen Me, you believe. Blessed are those who do not see Me and yet believe. We, who did not see Jesus in His days of flesh, but believe that Jesus is the Lord and God, we are blessed. Jesus is God according to the Bible.

The Bible says that God created man in His own image:

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Let us make man – includes the message that the Son together with His Father made man in the image of God. So, based on creation too, Jesus Christ is God.

The Bible says that the Son (Jesus) was with His Father creating the heaven and the earth (and man):

Col 1:12-22 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblemeable and unreproveable in his sight:

Conclusion to the reader

Dan Brown’s claims about Jesus’ mortality, and him not being God, and that He was married to Mary Madgalene, have proved to be lies. Instead the Bible and the history and the future prove the Bible to be the word of God. So, the one who believes in God shall not say amen to the deceptions of Dan Brown’s book. But also where Dan Brown has hit upon the right thing revealing pagan relics in the church institution, the believer should humble him self and obey the Bible and stop maintaining those many pagan relics which are wrapped up in lies in the teaching of the church institution.

And You, who are not saved yet, Lord Jesus wants to save you. The Bible teaches that all come short of the glory of God. The Bible teaches that the wages of serving sin is everlasting death that is destruction which is the end of all those who do not want to receive salvation which is in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for you in the middle cross in Golgotha, so that you could have everlasting life.

The death on the cross does not automatically bring man the forgiveness of sins. First was the message of the cross preached and those who repented and received the Word and believed in Jesus, only for those is the cross the place of forgiveness of sins. Those who do not repent and do not believe in Jesus, to those the cross proclaims death and condemnation. So, repent and receive the free gift of God which is salvation in Jesus Christ. To repent means that you turn  away from your sin life and begin to walk in newness of life through God’s grace. Thus man can not get saved otherwise that through Jesus’ death on the cross which is counted for those who repent and turn away from sin. This is what the Bible teaches, the grace of God, which only can save man from serving sin.
