1. Persians conquered
Mesopotamia, and as a consequence of this Babylonian priests escaped to
Pergamos, which located in Less-Asia.
Babylonian priests honoured Greek temple of
Pantheon (temple of all gods), but however, Babylonian priests continued to
observe Babylonian religion (sun worship and Saturnus cult).
2.
Babylonian priests maintained Babylonian
religion practises, festivities and ceremonies also in the temple of Zeus in
Pergamos. From Pergamos Babylonian religion came to Rome 133 B.C. Babylonian
religion was so popular and common in Rome that Rome was called as "New
Babylon".
3.
The Bible teaches, that after the flood to Babylon was born religion, where
people worshipped the sun. In Babylon, they made high towers (Zikkurat), and
on the top of Zikkurat was the temple, which was dedicated to the queen of
the heaven. In this temple, they worshipped queen of the heaven.
In the picture is the
reconstruction from the temple tower (Zikkurat), which was built about 2100
B.C. in era of Sumerian king Ur-Nammu.
Rev
2: 12-13: And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write;
These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy
works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest
fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein
Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan
dwelleth.
Babylonian
religion of satan moved to Pergamos and from there to Rome. In the book of
Revelation is mention that satan's seat was in Pergamos, because Babylonian
priests practised in Pergamos Babylonian religion. From Pergamos Babylonian
religion came to Rome 133 B.C. In Rome Babylonian religion came inside to
Roman Catholic Church.
In the book of Revelation
chapters 17 and 18 is a description about Babylon the great, which is the
mother religion, queen of the heaven religion. This description suits to
Roman Catholic Church, because they believe that Mary is queen of the heaven.
The Bible says that queen of the heaven cult is the abomination in the eyes
of God.
Rev
17: 5-6:
And
upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER
OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with
the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and
when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Rev
18: 2-7: And he cried mightily with a strong voice,
saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation
of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean
and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her,
and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her
delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her,
my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of
her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered
her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her
double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her
double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much
torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and
am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Jer 7:16 ¶
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for
them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of
Jerusalem?
18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women
knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out
drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke
themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall
be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees
of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall
not be quenched.
